Kamala Harris is allegedly not following Donald Trump's example of using streamers to promote her presidential campaign.

The United States VP recently made headlines after popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat claimed the Secret Service contacted him for a collaboration. However, a source denied his claims.

Kai Cenat's viral rant about Kamala Harris came on the heels of Donald Trump's successful interview with internet personality Adin Ross.

After Cenat went live with his claims about Harris and the Secret Service, a source with knowledge of the situation revealed that no one from the VP's camp had contacted the streamer or his team.

The insider stressed that there have been zero conversations between Harris's campaign and Cenat about a possible interview on his channel. Does this mean the YouTuber lied for clout? That doesn'tseem to be the case.

The situation between Harris and Cenat appeared to be a misunderstanding on the internet personality's part. Informants told TMZ that Kai's team had been communicating with a third-party organization linked to the Democratic National Convention (DNC).

Cenat's Team Had Been Contacted Before Joe Biden's Exit

According to sources, the third-party organization that contacted Cenat's camp had informal ties to the DNC's team. There had been talks about the streamer doing something for the event, but it was unclear what his role would be.

The collaboration talks reportedly began before President Joe Biden exited the presidential race and endorsed Harris as his replacement. However, no one from the VP's team had contacted Cenat or his reps to continue the prior discussions.

Cenat's rant might have been influenced by fans imploring him to team up with Harris for an interview after Donald Trump's success. The former POTUS partnered with another popular streamer, Adin Ross, gaining significant viewership in the August 5 stream.

What Did Cenat Say About Harris?

During his August 7 stream, Cenat ranted about his frustration and disinterest in partnering with Harris for an interview. He claimed he received five calls from the Secret Service and even had an estranged friend contact him.

The female pal allegedly texted him to participate in Harris's campaign. However, the Twitch star stressed that he had zero interest in getting involved with politics and believed he was unqualified to speak on the subject.

Cenat noted that if asked to participate in a political stream, he would be honest about his lack of knowledge and question why anyone would want him to promote their campaign.

Megan Thee Stallion Promoted Harris's Campaign

While Cenat had no interest in endorsing Harris's campaign, Megan Thee Stallion, on the other hand, actively supported the presidential nominee. The Blast reported that she donned the Democratic Party's signature blue at an Atlanta rally.

The rapper shared a video of herself doing the viral choreography for her hit song "Mamushi" on Instagram. She rocked a cropped blue blazer, matching trousers, a blue necktie, and a white cropped top.

Megan danced to her catchy tune with female backup dancers dressed in similar blue ensembles, excluding the cropped design and trousers. "Thee new Head of Security. #hottiesforharris," she captioned the video.

Harris' Atlanta Rally Had Powerful Blue Supporters

Megan wasn't the only female power to rock blue at the Atlanta rally, with former Georgia House of Representatives member Stacey Abrams joining the club. She and the rapper hyped the crowd in support of Harris.

As for the rally's VIP, Harris looked stunning in a powder blue power suit featuring a double-breasted blazer, matching tailored trousers, and a white blouse. She also honored her collegiate sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha, with pearl earrings and a necklace.

Later this month, Harris might flaunt another blue ensemble at the DNC, where renowned singer John Legend was expected to participate. Sources claimed he was 100% ready to promote the VP's campaign, but his exact role hasn't been revealed.

The "All of Me" hitmaker's participation in the DNC wasn't surprising given his history of performing at presidential campaigns. He gave a heartfelt show at an Election Day eve rally in Philly for Biden and gave Harris a special shout-out during an event on July 23.

During the second half of his two-hour show with the San Francisco Symphony, Legend kicked off his hit 2022 track "Wonder Woman" with a shout-out to Harris, declaring, "It's about time we let a wonder woman be president."

With stars like John Legend and Megan Thee Stallion in Kamala Harris's corner, her team's alleged disinterest in Kai Cenat seems plausible. Who will the VP recruit next?
