Britney Spears is considering speaking out about her ongoing conservatorship, and the recent documentary about her life, and who better to conduct this massive interview…but Oprah Winfrey.
According to reports, the pop princess has “considered” telling her side of the story — specifically because she feels others shouldn’t be the ones to tell her story. As you know, Britney has not commented on the New York Times documentary about her life, nor has she directly addressed her father and the battle over the conservatorship.
But, it might be on the way…
Take A Look!
“Britney has considered speaking out about her past, mostly because she doesn’t feel others should tell her story,” a source told ET.
Adding, “She’s always hated doing interviews but if she ever takes that step, Oprah would most likely be her first choice.”
It should be noted, the outlet says, “At this point, there is no plan in the works for her to do an interview but when she does, there will be steps Britney would need to take before speaking out.”
Interestingly, Oprah’s team would have to clear any contract or access to the pop star with her conservatorship team, and possibly the judge in her case. Which, if you believe the #FreeBritney movement followers, is exactly the issue with it.

The good news, Britney is reportedly feeling the love from her fans and appreciates the support from other celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Miley Cyrus.
“Britney has been much happier lately and those closest to her feel it’s because she’s received such tremendous support from her fans,” the outlet reported.
Adding, “The release of the documentary has inspired an outpouring of more love than ever. While she hasn’t been able to make changes to her conservatorship, she’s received millions of messages from fans on social media and she feels far more understood.”
There’s More…
Of course, the timing makes sense, Oprah is coming off of a stunning interview with former princess Meghan Markle, where the famous host was able to navigate extremely emotional topics.
Plus, Britney’s conservatorship is heating up after a hearing this week where her attorney said he plans to file a petition asking for Jodi Montgomery to be named permanent conservator. Jodi is a professionally licensed conservatory, who temporarily took over the role after Jamie voluntarily stepped down.
As we reported, photographers caught up with the pop princess — today — after she stepped out with her boyfriend, and son, for the first time since the release of the bombshell documentary.
