Megan went on to explain in her tweets how people make it out to be that they are forced to like certain topics on social media. In reality, this isn’t the case at all. This includes topics such as food or even puppies.

Megan Scored Three Grammy Wins
Among the categories that Megan won at the 2021 GRAMMYs were Best New Artist, Best Rap Song, and Best Rap Performance. The song that took home these awards was Megan’s 2020 hit single, “Savage” remix featuring Beyoncè. Bey even joined her on stage to celebrate her Best Rap Song Win. Lizzo presented the Best New Artist Award to Megan. She almost won Best Record at the end of the night as well but that went to Billie Eilish for her “Everything I Wanted” single.

Megan Became First Female Rapper To Win Best New Artist Award This Century
Megan made history with her Best New Artist award at the GRAMMYs as well. That made her the first female rapper to win this award this century. The last one to do so was Lauryn Hill back in 1999. Many believe that this is all the start of another epic year for Megan as she may deliver another project as well. She became a star in February 2019 after her 2018 “Big Ole Freak” single started to really take off on social media and on the charts.
Megan’s Debut Album Recently Hit Platinum Status
Megan also had a lot of momentum heading into the GRAMMYs. Back in November, she released her highly anticipated debut studio album, “Good News.” This project was led by hits such as the Savage remix, “Don’t Stop” feat. Young Thug, and “Girls In The Hood.” The latest hit singles from Good News have been “Body” and “Cry Baby” feat. DaBaby. The album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and is currently at platinum status in the US after selling over 1 million units.
