During an appearance on the "Sydney Morning Herald," TV host Sarah Ferguson criticized Affleck, ranking him among her worst guests ever.

She noted that she found his demeanor unpleasant during his March 2023 appearance on the news show "7.30."

"He was just rude, not interested, going through the motions," the Australian TV host said, per the New York Post.

In the infamous 2023 virtual interview to promote his movie "Air," Affleck's response to Ferguson's questions left much to be desired, especially considering his roles in the film's production as its star, director, and producer.

The actor was asked about the movie's evolution from a story about two "White guys in business" into a story about Michael Jordan's family.

While promoting "Air" last year, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Affleck was asked why he isn't on Instagram like his wife, Jennifer Lopez.

In response, the Oscar winner likened doing interviews to navigating "land mines." He explained, "She thinks that because of experiences that I've had, I've become very guarded. And she's right. I view these things as land mines, where if you say one wrong thing, your career might be over."

The "Argo" star also recounted a particularly painful experience where his vulnerability in an interview was misrepresented.

"I had a really painful experience where I did an interview where I was really vulnerable, and the entire pickup was something that was not only not right, it was actually the opposite of what I meant," he shared.

Affleck later appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" to clarify that his comments on Stern's show were taken out of context.

"They had literally taken the conversation that I had had for two hours and made it seem as if I was doing the exact opposite of what I said," the "Daredevil" star explained, per NYP. "I had gone on and said how much we respect each other and cared about each other, and cared about our kids and put them first and went through our stuff. And they said that I had blamed my ex-wife for my alcoholism and that I was trapped."

He added, "It made me look like the worst, most insensitive, stupid, awful guy. That's not true. I don't believe that, it's the opposite of who I am and what I stand for. I would never want my kids to hear a bad word about their mom."
