Garcelle Beauvais and Kyle Richards were at odds when fans last saw them at the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” However, despite their messy feud over Beauvais’ late donation to Richards’ charity event, the women are no on good terms.
During an interview with Vulture on March 16, Beauvais doubled down on her comments of a reconciliation with Richards, which were initially made on “Watch What Happens Live,” confirming that they were able to get to a great place after discussing “race issues.”
Garcelle Beauvais And Kyle Richards Had ‘Tough’ Conversations
“I think what changed is sometimes you have to have the conversations that are tough,” Beauvais explained of their ability to make amends.
“If you turn on any news, any talk show, anything right now, all of them have talked about race issues. I think whenever you have those difficult conversations, it can either go one of two ways: It can either go that relationship is severed and you both don’t get each other, or you were able to get past it and actually have a deeper conversation and maybe something important came out of it.”
Garcelle Beauvais Felt Kyle Richards ‘Weaponized’ Charity Drama
After confirming that she and Richards had a discussion about racism in America, Beauvais looked back on their messy reunion feud, during which Richards suggested Beauvais promised to make a donation to her charity but never did.
“I don’t know how much I can say, but I think her calling me out for not paying for the charity [on the season ten reunion] was definitely something that she weaponized,” Beauvais admitted.
Although Beauvais later admitted that she did not turn in her donation at the event, she confirmed it eventually made its way to Richards’ cause.
Garcelle Beauvais Explained To Kyle Richards That What She Did Was Wrong
While Beauvais couldn’t spoil any season 11 storylines, she did say that she and Richards discussed the comments Richards made about her late payment during production on the new episodes of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” which began filming at the end of last summer.
“We can watch it on the show — I’m not allowed to really talk about it. But it was along the lines of certain things you say to people, and that was just a low blow,” Beauvais explained.
Garcelle Beauvais Now Finds Kyle Richards ‘Sweet’ And ‘Fun’

“She’s just so sweet and so fun, and we’ve become friends off the show, which is really lovely,” Beauvais added of their relationship.
