Christina Haack Says She Has Not Felt 'Peace' In A Long Time Amid Messy Divorce

Christina Hall (née Haack) is finding solace amidst the storm of her divorce from her husband, Josh Hall.

The HGTV star's candid post follows a brief getaway as she sought respite from the ongoing drama. Meanwhile, Josh also broke his silence on the divorce, claiming he did not initiate the separation. 

As Christina Haack and Josh Hall publicly address their breakup, the mom of three's focus remains on finding her peace and protecting her kids. 

The reality TV star recently took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her emotional journey amid her ongoing divorce. She posted a serene photo from what appeared to be a brief escape to South Carolina. 

The snap saw Christina in a serene setting, capturing the essence of tranquility she was seeking. It showcased a softly illuminated, golden-toned room, with the TV personality displaying her long blonde hair in an elegant style and wearing a simple black top complemented by understated gold chokers.

In her caption, the mother-of-three described her time in South Carolina and expressed her gratitude for the experience. "South Carolina was good to me," she wrote. Christina also admitted that she had not felt such profound peace in a long time. In her words:

"The pure peace I felt there was something I haven't felt in a long time. It reminded me I am capable of feeling this daily when know one is fing with me and my life." 

As Christina reflected on her journey to find peace during their tumultuous divorce, Josh addressed the situation publicly for the first time over the weekend. 

In an Instagram post, the former police officer clarified that ending his marriage to Christina was not his decision. Alongside a selfie with his dog Stella, Josh expressed his preference for privacy amid the separation, emphatically noting that the divorce was not his choice. 

"I prefer privacy, especially during something as life-changing as a divorce I did not ask for. I will not publicly badmouth anyone, as people have families, friends, and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately, the internet is forever," the TV personality wrote.

Josh emphasized that while details of their breakup will be managed through their legal representatives, he aims to protect their privacy and handle the situation with dignity. "Those who know each of us, know who we are," he concluded.

The drama between Christina and Josh continues to escalate, with the reality TV star firing back at her estranged husband's claims of being blindsided by their divorce. 

The Blast reported that the Instagram exchange drama started after Josh shared a photo of a large "HOPE" sculpture on Instagram. However, his seemingly optimistic post was met with a sarcastic response from Christina, who questioned his intentions. 

The "Christina on the Coast" star implied that her ex was seeking additional financial compensation, suggesting greed as a possible motive. The pointed comment read, "'I 'HOPE' she pays me millions more than what she's already offered me.'"

Christina has made it clear from the get-go that she is not holding back amid divorce from her former beau. Last month, The Blast observed that the HGTV star took to social media to vent her frustrations. 

She accused Josh of employing public relations tactics to manipulate the narrative surrounding their divorce. In the first scathing Instagram story, Christina hinted at a forthcoming statement from Josh, writing:

"Over here waiting for the typical Hired PR rep speech of 'how I was blind-sided and how I'm working on myself and taking time to heal at her ranch'... Meanwhile I'm over here not as nice and quiet as I used to be."

She continued her tirade in the following slide, emphasizing the hard work she has put into building a life for herself and her children. The actress warned, "Anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve/what they did NOT work for should be ashamed."

The reality star then hinted at a long-standing pattern of behavior, stating, "An insecure man with a large ego can sure try and derail you- but 'still i rise…' For those that aren't aware…divorces do not happen overnight…& there is always a breaking point. This one is personal……"

The divorce between Christina and Josh is taking a bitter turn as details emerge about the legal proceedings. According to court documents, Josh filed for dissolution of the marriage in Orange County, California, citing July 8 as the official separation date.

The absence of a prenuptial agreement complicates the couple's asset division, as Josh has already requested spousal support from Christina in his filing.

Josh's demands do not stop there. The TV personality also claimed Christina's reality TV earnings. He requested the court to grant him a share of all HGTV and Discovery Network shows or specials produced during their marriage.

While Christina Haack's pointed social media responses make it clear that this split is shaping up to be a highly contentious battle, how the court resolves these complex issues remains to be seen.
