Rapper DaBaby and pop star JoJo Siwa seem to have squashed their beef after he invited her to perform with him on this year’s Grammy’s!
According to multiple reports, the ‘Suge’ rapper revealed the invite after being criticized for seemingly dissing the 17-year-old pop star in one of his songs.
As you know, in February DaBaby dropped a freestyle called, ‘Beatbox,” where he rapped, “N—a, you a b–ch / JoJo Siwa, b–ch / She let the wrong n—a get rich.”
At the time, many thought it was a dig at the young pop star.

DaBaby told Entertainment Tonight on the award shows red carpet, “I actually reached out to see if she wanted to perform with me at the Grammys — but I heard she’s somewhere working on a project of her own. I won’t say too much. I don’t want to put her business out there.”
He continued, “She’s somewhere filming something, though, but I definitely reached out.”
It should be noted, after receiving backlash over the lyrics, DaBaby clarified to the pop star directly on Twitter, his daughter is actually a huge fan of Siwa and it was not meant with any disrespect.

“My 3-year-old princess is your number 1 fan. I bought her every product you have out. She think she you. ?. Don’t let em trick you into thinking id ever have a problem with you. My wordplay just went over their heads. All love on my end shawty, Keep shinning!” he tweeted at the time.
DaBaby reiterated his point at the Grammy’s, saying, “My baby loves [Siwa], That’s how I know who JoJo Siwa is, from buying all the stuff for my baby, so, you know, we are 1,000 percent JoJo Siwa fans. We love her.”

DaBaby was nominated for four Grammy’s, including the record of the year, best rap song, and best melodic rap performance for “Rockstar” featuring Roddy Ricch — and best rap performance for “Bop.”
“A lot has changed, more than meets the eye, but we still here. We still blessed and we continue to push forward through whatever. And we got double the amount of nominations, so next year we’re going for eight,” he told People.
