Anyone keeping up with the latest celebrity news has already heard the buzz surrounding Jennifer Lopez and Alexander Rodriguez reportedly breaking up. The 51-year-old “Waiting For Tonight” singer is nothing short of breathtaking every time she appears in the headlines, though this time she has her fans blown away for an entirely different reason. She and her years-long fiancé were recently featured in several articles published by various outlets claiming that the pair had quietly split from each other!

The couple hadn’t responded… until now.

A prominent reporting agency not only debunked many of these misleading headlines (which were basically just speculating by quoting half-truths) by reposting a joint statement Jennifer and Alex had shared with People.com: “We are working through some things.” 

The statement is certainly vague, but it immediately shoots down rumors about them calling it quits.  

Furthermore, it has now been made clear that the reason they have physically been apart from each other for so long is actually because Jennifer has been filming a new movie in the Dominican Republic. Alex, of course, has patiently been waiting at his home in Miami. 

Although the “On The Floor” singer is generally friendly and rather humble on her page, her latest post is most definitely the media embodiment of the words “F-You”. 

Strutting a massive collaboration of sexy photos, videos and social media posts, Jlo shows her savage side as she claps back at both the media and those who have been spreading rumors about her and Alexander. 

Not only does she include multiple headlines in the video that she mocks, but she absolutely destroys the haters by including a song by rapper Saweetie called “Pretty B**ch Freestyle”. 

Here are just some of the many comments that Jennifer received on her post which continues to gain popularity on her Instagram account. (At this point the post has 5.2 million likes and nearly 20 thousand comments!)

Although Jennifer and Alex haven’t share any new information beyond the small comment with People it is expected that more details will be revealed soon. When asked about whether the reported cheating scandal around Rodriguez had any bearing on what supposed “rough patch” that they are going through, they made it clear that those reports were not related to what they are going through saying it “had no bearing on the rough patch at all.”
