Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce's 'Engagement' Is Reportedly 'Happening Soon'

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship is reportedly heading to a very important stage as a new report claims that the NFL star will soon propose to the singer.

Since they began dating, the couple's relationship has blossomed beautifully despite their busy schedules.

Travis Kelce regularly attends Taylor Swift's shows while she returns the honor of attending his football games.

The "Bad Blood" crooner and the NFL heartthrob have been making headlines with their whirlwind romance, and sources close to the couple are now claiming that their relationship is about to reach new heights.

According to Page Six, the Grammy-winning singer and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end are about to take the ultimate step in their relationship—getting engaged!

"The engagement is happening soon," the insider said, although a Kelce source has reportedly denied that there is an official engagement plan in place.

According to the news outlet, they were alleged to have gotten engaged already when the wife of a top Chiefs executive was heard telling her pals about it while sitting in a suite at a Kansas City concert by country star Morgan Wallen. However, neither Swift nor Kelce has yet to confirm this.

The couple recently marked their first dating anniversary and have not been shy about flaunting how much they've fallen in love.

In 2023, the "Blank Space" crooner claimed that she "doesn't care" about hiding her relationship from the public, as she did with ex-boyfriend Alwyn.

"The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you're seeing someone," Swift said in her interview with Time. "And we're just proud of each other."

Kelce also shared in a 2023 interview with WSJ Magazine that he's not afraid of the public attention their relationship has received.

He said, "Obviously, I've never dated anyone with that kind of aura about them … I've never dealt with it. But at the same time, I'm not running away from any of it."

"The scrutiny she gets, how much she has a magnifying glass on her, every single day, paparazzi outside her house, outside every restaurant she goes to, after every flight she gets off, and she's just living, enjoying life. When she acts like that I better not be the one acting all strange," the Super Bowl winner added.

Despite their busy schedules, the pair have managed to maintain close ties. They're often pictured going out on exotic dinner dates or attending each other's music shows or football games.

However, as Kelce prepares for the new NFL season and Swift continues the European leg of her Eras world tour, they've had less time to spend together. A source told Life & Style Magazine they're secretly worried about being apart.

"They've both gotten so codependent the idea that they won't see each other for even a few weeks is totally sickening for them," the insider shared.

"Taylor is especially freaked out because she's always got this fear of other women trying to get at Travis hanging over her head," the source explained. "She trusts him and he's not done anything to make her worry, but the reality is he's a guy and there's always temptation."

"She's been burned plenty of times in the past," the source added.

The lovebirds share the same anxiety about being away from each other as the insider noted that Kelce "seems to be just as threatened by all the guys around Taylor."

"He knows he has a woman that many men would kill for a chance with, and he hates leaving her side," the source explained, per Life & Style. "Obviously, he can't skip out on training camp to follow her around and he doesn't have more than a day off at a time."

"She's got tour dates in Europe for the next month before she gets a nice long break, so it would make sense for her to just stay put and finish all her dates and do long distance with him for a few weeks," they added.

The insider, however, noted that distance "shouldn't be such a big deal" for them as their relationship appears to be very strong.

"They're both freaking out over having to take a break and she's talking about flying back to see him even if she has just a day or two off," the source claimed.

In an appearance on the "Bussin' With The Boys" podcast, Kelce opened up about dating one of the world's most famous singers, shedding light on their whirlwind romance.

Kelce expressed pride in his relationship with Taylor Swift and referred to her as his "lady," stating: "You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I'm not here to hide anything. That's my girl, that's my lady, and I'm proud of that."

He emphasized the difference between maintaining privacy and not shying away from their relationship.

"I'm not sitting here trying to juggle like, 'how can I keep this under wraps?'" Kelce said. "You just don't want to let everyone into your personal life and be able to comment on it, knowing that everything she does is getting a headline."
