Cardi B Demands Child Support For Unborn Child From Offset In Divorce

Cardi B is making a serious demand in her divorce proceedings with her estranged husband, Offset.

The rapper has asked her ex-husband to hold his end of the financial responsibility for their children as they prepare to face the court in the dissolution of their union.

Cardi B announced her shocking divorce filing from Offset alongside her pregnancy and has demanded primary custody of their two kids, Kulture, 5, and Wave, 2.

The New York native cleared the air on the paternity of her third pregnancy and is now asking Offset to set aside child support for all three children.

Cardi B's new demand for child support comes after she asked to be granted primary custody of their two children and the unborn third baby.

The expecting mom emphasized that their marriage broke down due to irreconcilable differences, and there was no chance of amending things.

The rapper also wants their personal properties acquired during their union to be split equally between them.

News of the rapper's divorce filing heralded the viral pregnancy announcement of her third child fathered by the "Motorsport" rapper.

The Blast noted that she shared the news with a maternity shoot of her in a red dress showing off her baby bump and paired with a red fur coat. Cardi B accompanied the picture with an emotional caption that read:

"With every ending comes a new beginning! I am so grateful to have shared this season with you. You have brought me more love, more life, and most of all, renewed my power! You reminded me that I can have it all!"

Cardi B continued that her unborn child has reminded her that she never has to choose between "life, love," and her passion. She declared her deep love for her baby and expressed her excitement for the child to witness her accomplishments. She concluded by writing:

"It's so much easier to take life's twists, turns, and tests lying down, but you, your brother, and your sister have shown me why it's worth it to push through!"

Sources close to the rapper have revealed that the split was not due to infidelity. The couple have reportedly lost the spark, and the breakup was always meant to happen.

This is Cardi B's second time filing for divorce from Offset as she filed back in 2020, but she changed her mind.

The estranged couple's split did not appear to be amicable, as a few hours after news of Cardi B's divorce filing broke out, Offset was spotted engaging in a shady social media post.

The rapper liked an Instagram post highlighting that he had been "slapped with divorce papers amid being accused of cheating," despite the rapper denying it in an Instagram Live,

However, The Blast gathered that the second divorce filing did not surprise Offset as they have both been trying to "figure out what their future looks like for a while now."

The source continued that the issue did not happen overnight.They have both been on the same page about separating, and there was no pushback, adding, "They've grown apart and that feeling has gotten stronger over time. It's become unavoidable."

Cardi B has a lot going on, and amid the divorce and her pregnancy, The Blast shared that the rapper disclosed her career plans. The mom of three is reportedly working on a new project that is about 75% complete and due for release later this year.

A source close to the influencer confirmed that she still has a significant amount of work to do for the project, but her pregnancy will not hinder her.

The couple secretly tied the knot on September 20, 2017, in Atlanta, a month before he proposed to her on stage at Power 99's Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia.

Cardi B flaunted a bouquet of pink roses as she entered another space decorated with flowers, with Beyonce's "Summertime" record playing in the background.

"Thank you sooo much baby. Thank you for the flowers, the empowerment, the protection, and for being a great father to our children… I love so many things about you," Cardi wrote in the post's caption.
