Jennifer Lopez Pitied In Cheeky G-String That's 'Degrading'

Jennifer Lopez has been criticized for stripping down to an eye-popping bodysuit as part of a JLo Beauty promo. In April, an Instagram fan account reposted the 2022-shared photo, one showing the 55-year-old buns out in a barely there, G-string bodysuit. Baring her backside as she reminded fans of her incredible figure, JLo left virtually nothing to the imagination in a feminine-strong display, one seemingly leaving fans unimpressed. When comments poured in, many slammed the look, with a popular remark saying that the whole thing was "degrading."

Scroll for the photo. Exposing her rear and showing off those firm glutes, Jennifer sizzled in a skintight black bodysuit that was approaching dental floss. Slipping her curves into the sleeveless, backless number, the "Jenny From The Block" singer highlighted her muscular back and gym-honed arms, but her famous backside was the focal point.

Turning her head to face the camera as she was largely photographed from behind, JLo placed her hands on a nearby white surface as she let her golden tan pop against the light backdrop. Wearing her lightened locks down and keeping sunkissed with plenty of bronzer on her face, the Atlas star dropped jaws with her body, but she seemingly also angered fans.

Over 150 users have now liked a comment reading: "Why do women always need to portray themselves as sex icons?! It’s sad and degrading and the opposite of woman empowerment!" Elsewhere, a fan stated: "Save this for the bedroom or your inner circle."

While multiple fans replied with "Agree," a further user elaborated as they said: "Her kids are like teens now, it’s not cute. This just screams insecure woman to me. Like she wants attention and for people to tell her how good she looks and like she hasn’t aged a day blah blah blah."

Jennifer Lopez may have the odd negative remark to deal with on social media, but with media outlets now reporting that she's already filed her divorce papers with her husband Ben Affleck, she likely has bigger fish to fry.

Earlier this week, The Daily Mail reported that Jennifer Lopez had "finalized" her divorce paperwork "months ago." The news comes as the singer and her estranged husband lead separate lives while also listing their $68 million mansion. JLo has spent much of the past month in The Hamptons, while Ben hangs back in L.A.

In addition, the actor has just purchased a $20.3 million California home, one assumed to be his new bachelor pad. The couple, who hasn't been spotted together in nearly two months, tied the knot in 2022. They recently spent their second wedding anniversary apart.
