McKayla Maroney has broken her Instagram silence, but not without causing some drama. The Olympic gymnast, 28, stayed quiet for much of late 2023 and the first half of 2024, resuming her posts in June and ramping them up this week as she eyes up the 2024 Paris Olympics. Posting a stunning two-piece look last night, McKayla floored fans with her figure and her style, going racy in a teeny top and miniskirt, but not without a technical malfunction. While most of Maroney's 1.3 million followers sent her love, one picked her up on what appeared to be an error in her caption — McKayla has since edited the mistake.

Standing backed by a textured wall, the Gold Medal winner wowed in a thigh-skimming black miniskirt and strappy camisole top, highlighting her athlete figure while looking ready to hit the club. Teaming her leggy skirt with a plunging strappy top, McKayla flashed her assets via a push-up bra, going lacy at the bust and with slight cut-outs peeping her abs.

Keeping her hemline short, McKayla accessorized her look with strappy black heels and a stylish purse to match. Sporting her locks down as she gazed to the side, the California native kept glam with a bold red lip, sticking to her usual, full-coverage makeup. In a caption, she wrote: "Live like you’re dying. count blessings not problems."

Likes have now been left to a comment picking McKayla Maroney up on the tiniest of details. "You spelled you’re wrong but that’s okay!!!" the fan wrote. Noting that McKayla had spotted the comment, another jumped in to write: "She corrected it," although a third got more technical as they said: "I think "you're" is correct in that context because it's the contraction of "you are."

McKayla's Instagram mostly send out fashionista vibes, and that extends to her sporty looks.
