Sarah Hyland's Los Angeles Home Gets Burglarized
New reports show Hyland's home was burglarized last Saturday around sunset. The thieves broke into her property by smashing a glass window, alerting her security system while she was out of town.
Hyland reportedly watched the live surveillance footage on her phone, witnessing two masked men walking right out her front door. Unfortunately, by the time police arrived, the burglars were long gone.
Cops searched her house to ensure nobody was lurking behind; however, they could not tell if anything was stolen. The possible missing items and their worth will remain unknown until Hyland returns home and conducts an inventory.
The case, per TMZ, is under investigation, and authorities will pick up when the actress comes home to connect the dots. She joins a growing list of celebrities who have been burglarized this year.

Four years before her L.A. area home was invaded, Hyland purchased a modern farmhouse in Studio City, California. She splurged $3.92 million on the property amid preparations for her wedding to former "Bachelorette" contestant Wells Adams.
The two-story mansion, built in 2018, came with five bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms spread across 5,872 square feet. It featured all the comforts a celebrity could desire, from smart house capabilities to lavish architectural designs.
According to Architectural Digest, the living room had a vaulted ceiling and a sleek two-toned floor-to-ceiling fireplace flanked by built-in bookshelves. It also had large picture windows that flooded the space with natural light.

The Studio City mansion boasted a stunning dining room with an ebony hardwood ceiling and modern lighting fixtures. The kitchen featured similar aesthetic details with an oversized center island and snow-white cabinetry with dark countertops.
The master suite on the second floor came with vaulted ceilings, a crystal chandelier, and a sitting area with its own fireplace. The bedroom's French doors opened onto a sunny private balcony while the rest of the house flaunted lavish comforts.
From an impressive theater with stadium seating to a pristine blue pool with an inset spa, Hyland had several ways to relax with friends and loved ones at her new home.
However, she lived with Adams at their $1.9 million Valley Village home in Los Angeles when she purchased the two-story mansion. She also owned a bungalow in the same Studio City area.

Hyland and Adams' romantic journey began in the fall of 2017, a year after they first connected on X (formerly known as Twitter). The Blast reported that they took the next step in their relationship in 2019 after almost two years of dating.
The lovebirds were excited to say their vows in August 2020; unfortunately, their plans were repeatedly postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They finally got hitched in 2022 at an outdoor ceremony at Sunstone Winery near Santa Barbara, California.
The intimate event included family and friends, including Hyland's "Modern Family" co-stars Nolan Gould, Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson, alongside his husband Justin Mikita.
Wells Adams Was The 'First Man' To Cook For Sarah HylandÂ
In a 2023 appearance on "The Flaky Biscuit" podcast, Adams fondly recalled the first time he cooked for Hyland. He revealed he was the "first man" in her life to do so, saying:
"When we first started dating, I remember I would fly out from Nashville to Los Angeles, and I cooked for [Sarah] and made [her] ... shrimp tacos one night and my famous skirt steak recipe tacos."
Adams claimed this meal significantly impacted Hyland as it marked their first meal together. She also declared his tacos would be her "last meal" in a hypothetical death row meal situation.
Hopefully, Sarah Hyland and Wells Adams can continue to enjoy their blossoming romance without any more home invasions.
