When viral TikToker and comedian Trevor Wallace shared his complaint about a recent Chipotle order, the restaurant clapped back in a hilarious way.
While Wallace's main complaint was about the portion size of his meal, he also had some strong words about the utensil given and that's where this all takes a turn into a noteworthy response.
Viral TikToker Shares Gripe About Chipotle Portion Size And Fork Given!
Wallace wanted Chipotle to know that they should "count your days" after he received his order and was dissatisfied with the size and utensil given.
"Get Keith Lee on the phone! Get him on the phone!" he shouted in his video. "I ordered Postmates last night, tipped 25 percent just for this bowl of bullsh--. Where is the OG bowl? What is this?"
He then wanted to "talk size proportions" and showed the size of the bowl next to his hand for comparison. But then the gripe switched to something unexpected.
"I think the biggest disrespectful thing is the fact that this is the fork they gave me. They gave me this. Where's the Chipotle fork?" he asked. "We all know who I'm talking about, this guy right here, the Chipotle fork. The only fork in the world that is soft and hard at the same time - al dente, dare I say?"
'This Is Disrespectful'
Wallace continued to rant about his recent Chipotle order in the viral video that now has more than 11 million views and thousands of comments. Many of his viewers thought his video was hilarious and others also called for viral food critic Keith Lee to be contacted.
"The Keith Lee call has been put out like Batman in Gotham lmao," one person wrote. Another said, "This was a top-tier rant. 10/10."
Some viewers shared their own personal complaints about Chipotle.
"I went to a Chipotle last week and they were out of CHEESE!?!? They were right next to a Walmart?!!?" one person wrote. Another said, "Bro I asked them for more chicken and they gave me ONE extra piece."
Chipotle Clapped Back In A Hilarious Way!
In a follow-up video that has also gone viral with more than 19 million views, Wallace shared how Chipotle responded to his complaints.
"Look at what I had on my doorstep when I got home," he said before flashing the big "Chipotle Catering" box. "Oh, Chipotle Catering, it's probably so much food. Wrong."
The box was filled with Chipotle's "al dente" forks, hundreds of them, along with a note that reads, "Hey Trevor, We don't know what the fork happened with your last order, but wanted to make sure you never have to go without an al dente again."
Wallace concluded his video with another trip to Chipotle to get a bowl, but instead of eating it, he ran it over with his car for a dramatic and hilarious ending.
Viewers Loved Chipotle's Funny Response!
Wallace's update video really got the viewers chatting in the comments. More than 13,000 thoughts filled the comment section quickly.
"This is the funniest response I’ve ever seen! Chipotle got jooookes!!" one person wrote. Another added, "I’m living for the beef between Trevor and Chipotle."
And the comments only picked up speed from there, with many thinking Chipotle's response was the funniest way to handle this situation.
"Chipotle is my level of petty and I’m dyingggg," one person shared. Another added, "Chipotle marketing team is gangster."
Keith Lee Also Had Something To Say About Chipotle Recently
Lee, who's well known for his food critiques on TikTok, also recently had some things to say about Chipotle.
"This is out of the ordinary for me, but I used to love Chipotle. Lately, Chipotle has not hit the same way," he said in a video shared a few months ago. "In my opinion, is it still like that, or has something changed?"
Lee then jumped into his typical food rating video format. He first talked about how much he spent and what he got before digging in to see if something had changed.
He started with the crispy tortillas with chicken, cheese, sour cream, mild salsa, and fajitas. He rated that an eight out of 10.
He then moved onto the bowl, bringing up the portion size. After searching for the chicken, he finally found a piece at the bottom and took a bite.
"I don't taste much flavor. Everything is freezing cold. When I say freezing cold, this tastes like it was in the refrigerator. It's just not, I don't know if it's the quality, I don't know if it's like the seasonings, the time, I don't know what it is."
