According to People Magazine, Davidson checked into a wellness facility to focus on his mental health after a demanding period that included over 200 stand-up performances, several film roles, and the release of his second Netflix special, "Turbo Fonzarelli," in January.
Sources close to Davidson noted that mental health has long been a key focus for him, especially as he manages his journey with sobriety, borderline personality disorder, and severe PTSD.
His commitment to self-care is reportedly supported and applauded by his friends and family.
The 30-year-old comedian had previously sought treatment for PTSD and borderline personality disorder during the summer of 2023.

Davidson has been candid about his mental health issues for years. In 2018, he disclosed his diagnosis of borderline personality disorder, which followed his ongoing struggles with depression and anxiety.
Recently, he admitted that despite his efforts to quit other substances, he still struggles to give up marijuana.
During his "Pete Davidson: Rehab Tour" in Atlantic City, he told the audience, "I can't quit weed yet. It's all I have left."
He recounted his history with various drugs, stating: "I did coke and ketamine and f-cking all the pills and all that sh-t. All I have is weed left, so it's almost over, but I'm holding on for a little bit longer."

In September 2023, Davidson discussed his latest rehab stint at a comedy show, saying, "I am fresh out of rehab, everyone. I got that post-rehab glow. The seventh time's the charm!"
The "Saturday Night Live" alum also shared that he had used ketamine daily for four years, describing it as "magical" and humorously recalling its mind-altering effects, including an odd blend of "The Wiggles" with "Schindler's List."
He also told the audience he believes you "can't do drugs in your 30s" because "it's not cute anymore" and "you're just a drug addict."
In 2020, the "Bupkis" star explained to Howard Stern that he checked into rehab in 2016 because he felt unable to stop using drugs on his own. "I was like, somebody has to put me in a house where there is literally nothing. I had too much access."

The "Bodies Bodies Bodies" actor first entered rehab in December 2016, initially attributing his mental breakdowns to heavy marijuana use.
Reflecting on his challenges, he told Marc Maron on the "WTF with Marc Maron" podcast in September 2017, "This whole year has been a f-cking nightmare. This has been the worst year of my life, getting diagnosed with this and trying to figure out how to learn with this and live with this."
In an August 2018 interview with Variety, Davidson shared that he had been in and out of mental health facilities since he was nine.
However, he noted that the new medication had recently brought him stability after several challenging years. "The last few years have been real rough for me," he said. "I took all these mental health classes and really spent a lot of time getting me good."

Davidson spoke about the incident at his latest stand-up comedy show in Atlantic City, which is part of his "Pete Davidson: Prehab" comedy tour.
According to the Daily Mail, the comedian told the audience at his show that when he got a call regarding the charges being dropped, he responded, "Hooray? I guess."
Davidson added, "I did something bad. It's not anything really to be celebrated."
The actor then spoke about his punishment, sharing that he was ordered to serve 50 hours of community service, which just ended.
