One of the things businessman Roger Mathews was popular for, was his previous marriage to "Jersey Shore's" star Jenni JWoww Farley.
Fans of the reality TV series were first introduced to Mathews after he started dating Farley during the show's original run. The couple dated, got engaged, married and eventually divorced.
Since their divorce, Farley has moved on and is now newly engaged to professional wrestler Zack Clayton Carpinello. How does Matthews feel about his ex-wife's new engagement, and what is his current net worth? Go on, for more details below.
The Beginning And The End
In September 2012, Mathews popped the big question to Farley after two years of dating. The couple had gone skydiving together in a romantic moment, and Mathews proposed as soon as they reached solid ground.
Their sweet proposal was featured on "Snooki & JWoww." Two years later, in July 2014, the couple welcomed their first daughter, Meilani Alexandra and tied the knot in October of the following year.
In May 2016, they welcomed their second child, Greyson Valor. Unfortunately, Farley filed for divorce in September 2018 after three years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
An Ugly Conclusion
According to reports made by Mathews on Instagram, the split was a messy one as the businessman revealed in December 2018 that the "MTV" star had filed a temporary restraining order against him.
According to "Life&Style," Mathews wrote in a now-deleted post that his wife was screaming at his daughter, yelling at her while saying that her father is "a piece of sh*t."
Later on, Farley spoke about how difficult their divorce was during an episode of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation." However, it seems both parties have finally moved on from the ordeal.
Moving On Completely
On February 27, Farley got newly engaged to professional wrestler Carpinello. She announced the engagement via Instagram and shared lovely photos of their defining moment on top of the Empire State Building.
Carpinello also shared the same set of images on his Instagram page with a caption that read, "You made me the happiest I've ever been. I love you more than anything."
Mathews have also moved past their tumultuous split, and he admitted in April 2019 that he was happy for the couple. In a chat with "Page Six," he disclosed that his ex-wife was involved with a friend of her little brother.
Indifferent
He told the publication that Farley's new romantic interest seems like a terrific guy, and that he was happy for them.
He also opened up about the co-parenting arrangement he has with Farley. He disclosed that the process has since gotten more comfortable as they have set their differences aside to do things as a family to make the kids happy.
Although Mathews was not part of the "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation" cast, he has other lucrative business ventures. He is the co-host of the podcast "Champ and the Tramp." On the podcast, Mathews alongside "UFC Fighter" Frankie Edgar, speak about real-life issues, current events, MMA, Reality TV, fatherhood, and dating. Matthew currently has an estimated $2 million, which is more than Carpinello's estimated net worth.
