On March 9, "Jersey Shore" star Jenni JWoww Farley made a special announcement to her fans.
She revealed that her long-time boyfriend, Zack Carpinello, popped the big question on February 27, to which she gave a resounding yes in a romantic moment on top of the Empire State building. Farley accompanied this news with photos of the happy moment on her social media.
The newly engaged couple was seen making out in the images while holding champagne glasses, with an astonishing view of New York City in front of them.
The Incredible Proposal
On Farley's tattooed hand, there was a beautiful display of an enormous jewel gracing her finger.
Since the proposal in February, the 35-year-old actress kept the news to herself, but Carpinello dropped some hints the day after the proposal.
In an Instagram post, he wrote, "I love you. Happy birthday my love." As the pair set to tie the knot, it is only proper to get to know JWoww's new finacé. Unlike the actress, who is one hundred percent from Jersey, Carpinello, 26, hails from New York's capitol region.
Building From The Ground Up
Carpinello was born and raised in Bethlehem, New York, and graduated from Bethlehem Central High School.
After high school, Carpinello left the Hudson Valley with a heart full of dreams, and relocated to Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida. Soon after, he became known as Zack Clayton, a professional wrestler.
As reported by "Spotlight News," the wrestler trained for twenty-four months at "In Your Face Wrestling Academy" located in Albany, where he recorded his professional wrestling match. He then perfected his skills while training at Johnny Rodz's Wrestling School in Brooklyn.
A Thousand Hopes And Dreams
During an interview with "411Mania" in June 2020, Carpinello shared what motivated him as a wrestler.
He mentioned that he would always watch the sport on TV, and was fascinated by it as something he could look up to and one day make a career out of it.
As Carpinello got older, his childhood dream stayed with him, and he stopped playing basketball and football in college to focus solely on wrestling. He added that his love for the sport continues to grow as he marks his sixth year as a professional wrestler.
Farley & Carpinello's First Split
Now headed to the altar, Farley and Carpinello have known each other for years as the wrestler is the younger brother of one of JWoww's best friends. In 2015, Carpinello attended Farley’s wedding to Roger Mathews, but they only became intimately involved in early 2019.
In the course of their relationship, Carpinello became unusually close with Farley’s co-star, Angelina Pivarnick, during an episode of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation."
As the friendship between Carpinello and Pivarnick progressed, it caused a wedge between the couple, and they broke up temporarily. Nevertheless, love won in the end as the duo sort through their differences.
