Jennifer Lopez Breaks Up With Alex Rodriguez Weeks After Cheating Rumors

Jennifer Lopez has broken off her engagement from fiancé ex-MLB star Alex Rodriguez weeks after he was accused of flirting with a reality star.
According to Page Six broke the story, J.Lo and A-Rod are back on the market after ending their two-year engagement.
The two were photographed last month together in the Dominican Republic. Jennifer is filming her new movie “Shotgun Wedding.” The news comes after stories came out this week claiming their twice-postponed wedding was going to happen in the near future. Sources say the two were having issues for months.

A source told the outlet, “He’s now in Miami getting ready for baseball season, and she’s filming her movie in the Dominican Republic.” After the split, Alex posted a photo of himself on a yacht captioned, “Don’t mind me, just taking a sail-fie… What are your plans for the weekend?”
A-Rod and Jennifer started dating in 2017. They announced their engagement in 2019.The wedding has been pushed back twice. In December, the singer said, “We had to cancel the wedding … because of COVID, because of the quarantine. And we actually did it twice, which people don’t know.”

In the past, Jennifer has been chill about the postponement. She said, “I think we just feel like, ‘Let’s just wait it out.’ There’s no rush, we’re good, everything’s cool and it’ll happen when the time is right. I feel like it’s not a huge priority to go and have a big wedding right now, that’s not what life is about.”
The split comes weeks after Alex was accused of FaceTiming with "Southern Charm" star Madison LeCroy. Her family originally denied the two had any connection but her costars later ratted her out.
A-Rod denied even knowing Madison. She would later confirm she had a relationship with the ex-MLB star but denied it was ever sexual.
Madison told the outlet she had spoken to A-Rod by phone but never met in person. She said. That’s the truth." She added they have, “never been physical … never had any kind of anything. Just an acquaintance.”
She refused to get into what they spoke about but called it "innocent." She said, "He’s never physically cheated on his fiancée with me."The "Southern Charm" star said she "talked to him randomly, but not consistent."
