Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi believes she and her “Shahs of Sunset” cast members delivered the most “real” season yet during production on the new episodes of season nine. 

While chatting with Page Six on March 11, Gharachedaghi looked back at the production of season nine in 2020, joking that if she can give birth to her first child amid a pandemic, she can certainly handle the task of filming a drama-filled season of the Bravo reality show.

“If you can give birth during a global pandemic, you can film a show during a global pandemic!” Gharachedaghi explained.

“This upcoming season has such depth in it,” she continued. “And I think I could speak for my fellow OG cast members as well because we’ve just been doing this for so long as friends that I think it was very real for us this season.”

According to Gharachedaghi, who welcomed her son in April 2020, she and her co-stars had “nowhere else to go” but to get real with one another a have in-depth conversations about what they’ve been through.

In addition to the upcoming season of “Shahs of Sunset,” Gharachedaghi is also getting ready for the premiere of her new podcast, “Genuinely GG,” which launches on March 17.

As she prepares for the future premieres of her show and podcast, Gharachedaghi has been focusing her attention on planning a first birthday party for her son, Elijah.

“I’m really lucky that I moved into such a great area because I’m going to just have a really great party for him,” she shared. 

“He’s really into animals. You guys will see little snippets of that on this season. He loves animals. And I kind of do something special for him this season that’s animal-related,” she teased.

Fans are sure to see a new side of Gharachedaghi on “Shahs of Sunset” season nine now that she’s a mom. That said, she was, unfortunately, a bit limited when it came to the mommy-and-me activities she was able to do with Elijah in 2020.

Looking to the future, Gharachedaghi said she hopes to start doing more with her son once restrictions are lifted.

“It sucks because he’s about to be one and he’s never been anywhere!” Gharachedaghi exclaimed, noting that she hopes to get her child into group activities soon.

“I want to take him to classes where there’s other kids that he can play with. Every time he’s in a stroller and kids pass by, it’s like he breaks his neck to just see the kids, so my heart breaks,” she added.

A premiere date for the upcoming ninth season of “Shahs of Sunset” has not yet been set.
