Showing off her healthy curves and even displaying some cellulite, Demi put aside the industry's "need to be perfect" thing to get real instead. When users on The Daily Mail saw the snaps, they hounded Demi, telling her that the photo wasn't necessary and that she should cover up instead.

Rocking a feminine knot that tied her bandeau top together, Demi flashed hints of her chest, although it was more of a booty affair as her near-thong briefs showcased her curvy rear. The eating disorder warrior continued: "I'm just literally sooooo tired of being ashamed of my body, editing it (yes the other bikini pics were edited - and I hate that I did that but it’s the truth) so that others think I’m THEIR idea of what beautiful is, but it’s just not me."

Announcing a new "chapter" in her life and promising that it would be filled with authenticity, the chart-topping singer continued: "So here’s me, unashamed, unafraid, and proud to own a body that has fought through so much and will continue to amaze me when I hopefully give birth one day." Demi Lovato is known for her long eating disorder battles, ones that began ahead of her teens.

When fans shamed her, others upvoted the comments. Over 3,000 fans have now liked The Daily Mail's most-liked reply, one reading: "She really didn't need to do this. None of us need to do this." Also shaming the brunette was a fan saying: "Keep the clothes on and keep your dignity."
