Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin is wrapping her six bikinis with a little Ben & Jerry’s. The 31-year-old five-time Olympic medalist last night payed it forward with a massive frozen treats delivery for her stylist – posting for her 1 million Instagram followers, Nastia revealed just how well her glam team gets treated, with the gymnast’s stylist getting no less than seven tubs of America’s favorite ice-cream. It was Half Baked from the 2008 all-around champion and more. Check it out below.
Scroll for the ice-cream action. Nastia, who has made food and body-image headlines galore with her 2020 anorexia storm and 2021 “gross skinny chicken legs” comment, was all food in her Wednesday night stories, but the photo, coming as a repost from her stylist, didn’t show treats for Nastia. The Russian-born star had sent frozen calories to the woman who dresses her, and there was everything from popular B&J flavor Half Baked, to Strawberry Cheesecake and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough.
A caption from Nastia’s stylist seemed to show immense gratitude for the gesture. “WHEN YOU’RE PREPPING FOR FITTINGS AND YOUR BESTIEEE DELIVERS YOU ICE-CREEAM…WUT. @NASTIALIUKIN I LOVE YOU,” it read, adding: “P.S. DO YOU SERIOUSLY THINK I’M GONNA EAT ALL OF THESE???!!!!”
The shoutout follows an April 2020 one, where Liukin took to Twitter, writing: “You’ve all been asking for it, so we are finally sharing how my stylist and I accessorize my looks! I thought I’d let you guys hear it from the expert herself, so here’s everything you need to know.”
Headlines have been busy for Nastia of late, with Februrary seeing the Dallas, TX-based star jet out to Indiana for the 12th annual Nastia Cup, with more recent news coming as the blonde fronts home retailer Pottery Barn. Nastia’s Instagram has been showcasing how her stylish, muted accent interiors are all thanks to the popular homeware brand, with Liukin even landing a feature in Architectual Digest as she shows off her home.
If you’re wondering about Nastia and food, see the Oreo cookies she always stocks in her pantry below.
Nastia, last year revealing Oreos are the one snack item she always keeps stocked at home, has opened up on food and cheat ones. Raised by two Olympic gymnast parents, Nastia recalled mom Anna Kotchneva as she told The Cut:
“I also remember my mom telling me, “If you want a cookie, have a cookie.” Because then you’re going to get to a point where just like you want ten cookies and you’re going to eat ten. So allow yourself to have that.”
