Tekashi 6ix9ine- 'GOOBA' music video
Tekashi 6ix9ine continues to be one of the most trending names in hip-hop due to his constant trolling on social media as well as feuds with other rappers. Legal woes have also been obstacles over the course of these last three years for the Brooklyn rapper and now, another one is on the way. This time, it deals with his 2020 single, "GOOBA," which was released after getting out of prison in April after citing COVID-19 exposure concerns where he was located.
Texas Producers Say 'GOOBA' Beat Sounds Like Their 'Regular' Song
According to TMZ,6ix9ine is being sued by a group of producers from Texas who go by the "Beat Demons." They have a beat instrumental titled "Regular" which sounds very similar to that of "GOOBA." This beat was originally put on YouTube in January 2018, which was over two years before GOOBA was released. The producers cite in this lawsuit how GOOBA exhibits the same melody, form, structure and function. In the end, they are looking to earn the profits from GOOBA.

6ix9ine Faces More Legal Issues To Start 2021
The "GOOBA" copyright situation isn't the only legal battle that 6ix9ine is going through in this new year. Last month, he was also sued by a stripper out of Miami, according to TMZ. This was due to the woman accidentally being hit in the head by a champagne bottle from 6ix9ine. The bottle was thrown after a man called 6ix9ine a "rat," which ended up provoking him to make that move. 6ix9ine is being sued for aggravated battery and the club the woman works at is facing gross negligence.
6ix9ine Was Also Contacted By Meek Mill's Legal Team
At the end of February, 6ix9ine was also hit with a cease and desist letter from Meek Mill's legal team. This is after 6i9xine used a video of his altercation with Meek in an Atlanta parking lot that month in his new "ZAZA" music video. Meek did not want himself in those visuals and 6ix9ine soon trolled him by saying that Meek believes that he's being bullied. In that altercation, Meek also initially believed that 6ix9ine was just trying to create another viral moment.
6ix9ine Challenged Meek To A Fight As Well
In a recent Instagram video, 6ix9ine showed off his cars and bragged about how he's supposedly made $20 million since being released from prison. There, he also called out Meek Mill again and challenged him to a one-on-one fight. It's unclear if he wants that to be an actual fight in the streets or a professionally organized one such as a celebrity boxing match. Obviously, a lot of fans would much prefer the second option, as that would also generate money for both sides.
