Blake Lively turned heads as she went bold in a thigh-skimming purple minidress in April 2022, and while fans couldn't fault her figure, some did wonder if the dress was a little too short. Stepping out for model Gigi Hadid's 27th birthday party, the Gossip Girl star wowed in a vivid purple minidress, going skintight and with a pair of loud platform heels accentuating her silhouette. Looking sensational as she made a case for the bodycon look, Blake flaunted her jaw-dropping physique in party mode, but not without causing drama. When The Daily Mail published the photos, multiple users called out the leggy hemline, with some of the most-liked comments deeming the dress "too short."

Adding height to her frame via red platform heels with jazzy gold accents, Blake matched her chic red clutch to her sky-high heels, also rocking her signature blonde locks down. Keeping glam with a glowing face of makeup, the mom of four opted for a dewy foundation and plenty of highlighter, with a pink lip sending out girly vibes. The star-studded bash was also attended by Gigi's model sister Bella Hadid, plus the Guest in Residence founder's brother Anwar Hadid. Also present were parents Mohamed and Yolanda Hadid.

Over 2,000 users have now agreed with a comment criticizing the length of Blake Lively's dress.

"I'm 28 and learned my lesson years ago wearing dresses that short and tight. You just know you will be spending the whole evening yanking that dress down when you step forward so much as two paces and it rides up. Fans left over 1.8 million likes, with sitcom star Jennifer Aniston also sending Blake the thumbs-up.
