B. Scott Becomes BET’s First Trans Non-Binary Host, Executive Producer Of New Series ‘Twenties The After Show'

BET is making history after naming media personality, B. Scott, as host and executive producer of a new program -- which is the network's first trans non-binary talent in this type of role.
According to reports, B. Scott will host the official after-show of the hit series 'Twenties.' The new show, 'Twenties The After Show' will have Scott touch on key themes of each episode having conversations with a lineup of guests.
The after-show will begin production in the next few months and will air as a companion to the hit series during its's second season!

B. Scott, who also owns and operates a very popular Entertainment news site, reacted to the huge news in a statement through GLAAD.
“If I’m being honest, I’ve never really been into using labels to describe myself because I already know who I am. But as the world around me has grown and expanded its vocabulary, I understand how important it can be to use labels as a means of seeing ourselves, expanding our worlds, and finding community,” B. Scott said.
Adding, “The generations of people who find themselves reflected in my image or simply have gotten to know me over the years, I feel compelled to say this: I am a trans-non-binary person and I use them/they pronouns. My gender identity, who I am on the inside, doesn’t fit the binary labels of “man” or “woman.”

The new program marks B. Scott's return to BET. In 2012, the 'Social Media Monarch' became the first trans-non-binary person to appear on BET’s 106 and Park and judge the ‘Rip the Runway’ competition.
