Traffic police stopped Timberlake after he left a high-profile Hamptons hotel in the early hours of June 18.

According to reports, the officers initiated the stop because the ten-time Grammy award winner ran past a stop sign and swerved in and out of his lane.

During the traffic stop, Timberlake "performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety" and was then charged with a  DWI misdemeanor and cited for veering out of his lane.

"His eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests," the court papers said about the incident, per AP.
