Future's 2020 'Life Is Good' Single With Drake Inches Closer To Diamond Certification

2020 has received a huge hit record to start of the year and that was Future's "Life Is Good" featuring Drake. The two delivered plenty of hits in the past but this ended up being the biggest of them all.
It ended up debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and fans loved the music video that was released as well. It has earned plenty of platinum plaques since then and it hasn't stopped in 2021 either.
'Life Is Good' Is Now 9x Platinum In The US
According to Chart Data, "Life Is Good" is now certified 9x platinum by the RIAA in the US. This is after selling 9 million units. One more platinum certification would officially put the single at diamond status.
This would be Future's first diamond single and Drake's second. Drake earned his first one in 2018 with his chart-topping "God's Plan" single which dominated that year. Life Is Good ended up receiving a remix a month later as it also included DaBaby and Lil Baby.
'Life Is Good' Appeared On Future's 'High Off Life' Album
The momentum for Future didn't stop after "Life Is Good" at all as the single went on to appear on his eighth studio album, "High Off Life," that May. This ended up being a huge project for the East Atlanta rapper as it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and became his seventh straight top album.
High Off Life also went gold 15 minutes after its release due to success of the previously released lead singles. Those included "100 Shooters" feat. Meek Mill and Doe Boy and "Tycoon."
Future Appeared On Drake's 'Dark Lane Demo Tapes' Mixtape Four Months Later
"Life Is Good" wasn't the only collab between Drake and Future in 2020. Drake released his "Dark Lane Demo Tapes" mixtape in May as Future appeared on the song, "Desires." That quickly became a fan-favorite as listeners admired the their chemistry again.
Dark Lane Demo Tapes ended up debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart, right behind Kenny Chesney's "Here And Now." That broke a record set for Drake of consecutive No. 1 projects since 2010, which was a surprise to many.
Drake Is On Fire With Latest 'Scary Hours 2' EP Release
The "Life Is Good" 9x platinum certification is one of the many wins that Drake continues to experience as usual. Last week, he released his new "Scary Hours 2" EP which helped make up for many fans the delay of his sixth studio album, "Certified Lover Boy" album in January.
Scary Hours 2 features the new hit single, "What's Next," which is expected to become the No. 1 song in the US on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week.
