Christina Haack's Estranged Husband Reportedly Feels Blindsided By Divorce

Christina Hall's (née Haack) third divorce is already taking a dramatic turn. Her estranged husband, Josh Hall, is reportedly feeling blindsided by the split.

Sources close to Josh suggest that the divorce proceedings caught him off guard. Josh's blindsided revelation comes after the HGTV star accused him of diverting $35,000 from her rental property income. 

Christina Haack, who married Josh Hall in 2021 and seemed to enjoy a blissful union, has seen their relationship dramatically unravel recently.

Josh is reportedly devastated by the sudden end of his marriage to Christina. Sources close to the former police officer revealed that he felt blindsided by the divorce filing, having deeply cherished his life with Christina and the blended family they created.

The couple, who had purchased their dream home in Newport Beach and collaborated on numerous television projects, appeared to be growing stronger together. However, the unexpected breakup caught Josh off guard, leaving him bewildered and heartbroken.

Insiders disclosed that Josh was aware of the usual marital ups and downs but never anticipated his relationship with the mother-of-three would end so suddenly. 

TMZ reports that the situation took a dramatic turn when Christina abruptly ceased all direct communication with Josh, opting instead to speak through her attorney.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, Josh also retained legal counsel, bracing himself for the inevitable dissolution of their marriage. 

Those close to Josh also revealed that his life was profoundly intertwined with hers. Josh's commitment extended to Christina's children from her previous relationships – Taylor, Brayden, and Hudson – with whom he had formed strong bonds.

The reality TV star was devoted to both Christina and her children, making their relationship central to his life. 

While he wishes them nothing but the best, Josh is reportedly spending time in Nashville, focusing on self-improvement. He has been hitting the gym and regularly attending church, finding solace in his new routine.

The third time was not the charm for Christina. Their nearly three-year marriage came to an end, with Josh filing to dissolve their union on July 16.

The Blast reported that Josh cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split, marking their separation date as July 8.

Without a prenuptial agreement to guide the division of their assets, Josh's requests have added fuel to the fire. He is seeking spousal support from Christina and asking the court to terminate her rights to alimony.

Furthermore, the 43-year-old also petitioned the court for all rights to any HGTV and Discovery Network shows or specials produced during their marriage.

The divorce between the former couple is taking a contentious turn as they prepare to divide their assets. While Josh is seeking to maintain ownership of his pre-marital property, the division of any jointly acquired assets remains unclear.

The absence of children should simplify some aspects of the divorce, but tensions are reportedly high between the estranged pair. Sources suggest that Christina, too, is eager to finalize the split, having reportedly filed for divorce. 

However, unlike Josh's, her documents have yet to be processed, indicating that the legal wrangling is just beginning. 

Christina has accused Josh of trying to misappropriate $35,000 from her rental property income. The Blast shared that the actress claimed her former beau contacted her property manager on July 8, just a day after they filed for divorce.

Christina alleges that he requested that June rental payments be redirected to a different account.The text message allegedly sent by Josh read: "Hi. For June payments, can we please get it sent to a different account when it's time? Thank you."

Christina discovered the $35,000 transaction on July 21 and provided a screenshot of the message as evidence in her filing with the Orange County Superior Court in California. 

Court documents revealed that the entrepreneur has asked a judge to order Josh to return the diverted funds. In her filing, Christina stated:

"I am asking for Josh to account for the funds taken and return them to me as those funds are specifically used to pay any loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for these rental properties."

Despite Josh's shock at the abrupt end of his nearly three-year marriage to Christina, their contentious breakup, coupled with allegations of financial misappropriation, raises doubts about whether they can reach a satisfactory resolution without further conflict.
