Scheana Shay Talks 'Pump Rules' Tension Ahead Of Season Nine

Scheana Shay recently opened up about her strained relationships with her "Vanderpump Rules" cast mates.

While chatting with her Instagram fans and followers on her Stories, via the "Real Vanderpump" fan page on Instagram, Shay was asked if she felt that she and her co-stars would reconcile following their falling out in 2020.

“Probably not. I think where everyone kind of stands now will probably stick," Shay replied. 

Shay is currently on the outs with Lala Kent, who is expected to appear on season nine, and Stassi Schroeder, who is no longer included among the cast.

"But, it is this crazy group of us and you know, it’s a roller coaster. So you never know," Shay continued. 

Shay went public last year with claims of having been abandoned by Kent after she disclosed her miscarriage to her then-friend in June 2020. However, Kent eventually denied any such thing, claiming she had no idea that Shay expected her to come to her house.

In the weeks since, both ladies made it clear that their friendship was over for good.

Looking back on the time she's spent away from her cast mates, Shay admitted that she's much more responsible now about who she spends time with. 

"I think everyone, for the past year and a half that we haven’t filmed and we’ve been in this pandemic now for almost a year, I think you really see who your true friends are [and] who you are wanting to spend time with," she said, adding that she thinks twice before hanging out with anyone.

"That’s the thing about this. It’s like, anyone you see, it’s like, 'Are you worth me potentially getting COVID? Have you been tested recently? Who were you around?’" she continued.  "So I think everyone’s circles have gotten a lot smaller."

While Scheana said that she doesn't necessarily think that the "Pump Rules" friend groups will reunite, she added that when it comes to the Bravo cast, one never really knows what's going to happen in terms of where their friendships will head in the coming months.

"You never know," Shay stated.

According to Shay, she and many of her cast mates, including Kent and Brittany Cartwright, are expecting babies next month. And, because Schroeder has already welcomed a baby girl, it is certainly possible that the children could one day bring their mothers back together.

"So many kids are about to come into this world and that can bring people close again too so we’ll just have to stay tuned and see,” she teased.
