Nikki Bella & Artem Chigvintsev's Relationship Has Changed Since Matteo's Birth

Having a baby changes any couple's life. Nikki Bella and fiancé Artem Chigvintsev are experiencing that with son Matteo.

The "Total Bellas" star gave birth to her baby boy on July 31st, one day before sister Brie's son Buddy was born.

Nikki and Artem are overjoyed at being parents. However, the two have had some issues. Nikki has been very open about her battle with postpartum depression, and the effect it had on her relationship with Artem.

Nikki revealed that she and Artem have been going to therapy to work out their issues. The couple is now in a better place, and Nikki recently opened up the changes in their relationship.

Nikki and Artem have busy schedules. With her running her multiple businesses, and Artem on "Dancing With the Stars." Weeks after Matteo's birth, Artem made his return during season 29, which he won with partner Kaitlyn Bristowe.

However, Artem's absence caused problems with him and Nikki. With him not there, Nikki was getting the support she needed.

But with Artem now on break from "DWTS," it's allowed him more time to spend with Nikki and their son. Artem's been taking care of Matteo and helping around the house, which is a relief to the new mom.

As for her and Artem's relationship, Nikki says they're enjoying lots of quality time together. The 37-year-old Birdiebee founder says Matteo is sleeping through the night, which allows for more alone time for the new parents. Nikki reveals that a typical night for her and Artem consists of dinner, drinks, and curling up on the couch to watch "The Bachelor."

Nikki's enjoying the quality time she's spending with her fiancé, yet when it comes to the bedroom, things are different. The star admits that when it comes to intimacy, "the sex has been super tired."

In an interview with Us Weekly, Nikki confesses that she and Artem tend to have tired sex. The wrestler goes on to explain that there's a lack of energy in the bedroom and she needs a boost.

But Nikki isn't the only one having trouble in the intimacy department. Her sister Brie confessed that she and husband Daniel Bryan are also lacking that spark after welcoming their second child. Brie revealed that she and Bryan often have to schedule time for sex.

Although, a lot of changes have occurred since Matteo's arrival, Nikki and Artem love their son more than anything. As for when or if they plan to expand their family, Nikki opened up about the possibility.

The former Divas Champion says Artem's onboard with having another baby, and hopes for a girl. Nikki admitted that she thought one was enough, but is changing her mind. She says she wants to give Matteo a sibling, someone he can have a close bond with.

As for when baby number two will arrive. It may be a while because Nikki has several goals she wants to complete. One of them being a return to WWE.

Things are about to get busier in the Bella/Chigvintsev household. Nikki and Artem are scheduled to tie the knot Thanksgiving weekend 2021.

The couple became engaged on a trip to Paris in November 2019. The two planned to marry in 2020, but the coronavirus had them postponing their wedding.

Nikki revealed that for the big day she wanted a massive party with all of her family and friends there.  With the pandemic slowly down, the couple is ready to get married. As for details about the wedding, so far Nikki is keeping quiet, but says that Matteo will be part of the ceremony.
