Flaunting her curves in the sunshine as she was photographed from a distance, Katy proved popular as fans raved about her figure, but many felt that the media presence was intrusive. When The Daily Mail published the photos, fans lashed out, calling the cameras "invasive" and thinking that Katy herself looked angry.

Going makeup-free and with her dark hair tied back, Katy appeared unaware that she was being photographed, something that angered fans reacting to the newspaper's report. The outing had also included daughter Daisy Dove, now 3.

Gaining over 220 likes was a fan exclaiming: "Why can't you leave them alone?! Clearly photographed by stalkers aka paps. The color of her swimsuit is not news!" Appearing to pity Katy and Orlando, another replied: "Poor sods can't even have a family holiday without their privacy being shattered." Also popular was a reply reading: "She looks furious about being papped - they must have been circled by cameras. These photos are very intrusive."
