Located about 10 minutes from the world-famous Las Vegas Strip, Speedvegas offers an experience like no other. So when you need a break from gambling, shows, and sightseeing and are ready to get your adrenaline pumping, head to Speedvegas and get ready for a true thrill ride!
Pedal To The Metal In A Supercar At Speedvegas!
If you're looking to take memories of an extreme adventure home with you from your visit to Las Vegas, Speedvegas is a must!
"Speedvegas is a paradise for everyone with a need for speed and home to four different activities," Doreen Thievin, Director of Communications for Speedvegas told The Blast.
"The biggest one is Exotics Racing, the world's biggest supercar driving experience where customers can drive one of our 50 supercars on a racetrack."
Please note: According to Speedvegas' website, "You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license to drive. You must be 11 years, a minimum of 80 lbs and 4 ft 9 or older to participate in the Drifting Ride-Along, High-Speed Ride-Along, and Discovery Laps."
Choose Your Car And Get Your Adventure Started!
Customers can choose from a wide variety of supercars, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren, and others. After arriving at Speedvegas and checking in, there's a 20-minute safety briefing followed by two laps around the track in a Porsche SUV as a passenger. Prior experience is not necessary (just a valid driver's license).
"During these two laps, our instructors show everyone the track so customers know what to expect once they get in their supercar," Thievin said.
"After these two laps, the customers meet their instructor, get a helmet, and go to the car they booked. Every driver has one of our instructors on the passenger seat to coach the customers to go faster and make sure everything is safe (all cars are equipped with a brake pedal on the passenger side.)"
Experiencing The Adrenaline Rushing Fun At Speedvegas!
Earlier this week, I headed over to Speedvegas to check out all the excitement. I brought my "Fast and Furious" loving son with me, who ended up doing six laps around the track in a Lamborghini. As first-timers to Speedvegas, it didn't disappoint.
After we arrived and checked in, we went into a short safety class with other people scheduled to drive a car at the same time. The safety class gave all the important information needed to feel confident to get into the car and onto the track for some fast-action fun.
"It was a little nerve-wracking at first, but after two laps, I was feeling pretty comfortable," Jesse, 18, said. "The instructor talked me through it to help get me more comfortable and get me to go faster."
A 'Once-In-A-Lifetime Experience'
It was easy to see from the sidelines that Jesse's comfort level driving the Lamborghini was increasing with each time around the track.
"Getting comfortable going so fast was the hardest part for me," Jesse said. "The instructor leads you and tells you when to brake and go fast which was really helpful. He talked me through the entire experience."
Jesse said the best part was the straightaway so he could really accelerate hitting almost 120 mph. He also said seeing all the supercars up close was a great experience.
"It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience driving a Lamborghini," he said. "It's something I highly recommend any visitor or Vegas local to try!"
Another really cool thing is getting a video of the entire driving experience emailed to you shortly after your session so you can see the drive from different angles and relive the fun over and over.
Speedvegas Offers Others Activities, Too!

If driving an exotic car at high speed around a racetrack isn't quite your speed, Speedvegas also offers a few other options for an exciting experience.
"We have Vegas Superkarts, an outdoor go-kart track that is so much fun, especially if you come with a group of friends," Thievin told The Blast. "The third activity is an off-road SSV desert tour with stops at the dry lake and Seven Magic Mountains. And the last activity is a Baja Truck driving experience on our dirt track where customers jump up to six feet in the air."
And even if none of these adrenaline-pumping activities are your speed, you can still visit to watch others and check out all the cars!
"Speedvegas is a place for everyone and every budget," Thievin said. "Our place is open for everyone, even if customers don't drive anything. They can come to Speedvegas and check out all our 50 supercars. All cars are open and people can sit in them or take photos. A true paradise for every car lover."
