The support for Kamala Harris continues to grow; this time, it is coming from her own household.

Many rushed to the vice president's defense after a resurfaced clip of Republican JD Vance captured him bashing her for being "childless." Her stepdaughter, Ella Emhoff, couldn't disagree more with the U.S. senator's comments.

Kamala Harris' family aren't the only ones clapping back at JD Vance, with actress Jennifer Aniston penning a powerful response to the catty remarks.

Ella's classy retort at Vance's comments came via her Instagram Stories. She shared a screenshot of a news report detailing her mother, Kerstin Emhoff's response to the "childless" remarks.

"These are baseless attacks. For over 10 years, since Cole and Ella were teenagers, Kamala has been a co-parent with Doug and 1. She is loving, nurturing, fiercely protective, and always present," Kerstin declared, earning her daughter's praise.

Ella stressed that she and her brother considered themselves Harris' children, writing, "How can you be 'childless' when you have cutie pie kids like Cole and I? @kemhoff say it louder for the people in the back. I love my three parents."

Aniston reposted a message highlighting Vance's words about "childless" women like Harris in powerful positions and lamented about having a senator like the Republican. "I truly can't believe this is coming from a potential VP of the United States," she began.

"All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day. I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too," Aniston concluded.

Vance's words hit too close to home for the "Friends" star as she has been open about her fertility struggles. In 2022, Aniston revealed she repeatedly tried and failed to make a baby, saying:

Inside The Senator's Catty Remarks About Harris

The support for Harris began when a 2021 episode of Tucker Carlson's former Fox News show resurfaced on the internet. Vance, a candidate for the Ohio Senate at the time, bashed "childless" women for pursuing political careers.

Vance argued that the United States was governed by "a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable with their own lives and the choices they've made, and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too."

"It's just a basic fact — you look at Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg, AOC — the entire future of the Democrats is controlled by people without children," Vance continued, adding:

"And how does it make any sense that we've turned our country over to people who don't really have a direct stake in it?"

While Vance may believe "childless" women like Harris shouldn't be in powerful positions, some of the entertainment industry's biggest names beg to differ. The Blast reported that the VP's campaign received tremendous support from A-listers.

The list included British pop star Charli XCX, who tweeted: "Kamala IS brat," referring to the title of her sixth album. She gave a detailed description of a "brat" on TikTok, noting the word referenced a "very honest" and "very blunt" individual.

Her album's name is designed in a lowercase black font over a neon green background, and Harris' official X page for her campaign, @KamalaHQ, embodied the same style for their background image.

The Black community's support continued with Black Star Network founder Roland Martin co-hosting a "Black Men for Harris" call. The move raised $1.3 million in four hours for Harris' campaign on Monday, July 22.

More than 50,000 people joined the stream, including Don Cheadle, John Legend, Don Lemon, Hill Harper, Will Packer, Cory Booker, and Emil Wilbekin, to politicians like Sen. Raphael Warnock and Maryland Gov. Wes Moore.

Kamala Harris is undoubtedly loved, but is it enough to win the presidential race?
