Vice President Kamala Harris has just been called the original Hawk Tuah Girl, and it has left Americans divided.

Also known as Haliey Welch, Hawk Tuah Girl is making waves after a spotlight moment in a street interview by Tim & Dee TV. When asked, "What's one move in bed that drives a man wild every time?" her response quickly turned her into a viral sensation.

As Hawk Tuah Girl continues to go viral, Fox News reporter Alex Lace made headlines by comparing her to current Vice President Kamala Harris.

While discussing the upcoming 2024 presidential election, Alex Lace said, "So the future looks kind of dim for the Democrats here, but this is no shocker either: Kamala Harris. She's the original Hawk Tua Girl, that's how she got where she is, and the party is going downhill if it's in her hands."

His co-anchor immediately responded, "That was tough. That was harsh."

Lace then shared the clip on his X account, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, asking America if he went too far.

"Uhm. Just accurate. Good call," one user said, backing Lace up. "Tough? Harsh? Maybe? BUT definitely TRUTHFUL! Reality can be harsh," another said.

Hundreds of other X users joined in on the conversation, with some agreeing with Lace.

"So funny!!!! You did not go too far," one individual said as another completely disagreed. "How would you feel about someone calling your princess that one day?" the second user expressed. "You went way too far. Totally unnecessary. If you have a substantive argument to make, make it. Ad hominem attacks speak volumes about you."

One individual didn't necessarily support or bash Alex Lace, but they did note, "Talking about her sexual past isn't productive. Focus on the issues. Act like an adult. This type of behavior hurts conservatives in the long run."

Alex Lace Slammed For His Hawk Tuah Girl Comment

Others say he went too far, especially since he is a father of four. "Well you’re definitely not a first class father if you talk about other human beings like that in a public space," one X user commented. "And the example you set for your children is disgraceful."

"How’s a father of 4 going to explain Hawk Tuah to his children," another said. "This is embarrassing for any father to speak that way on national TV."

"Quick question....since your whole persona is being a father and you pretend to be good. I'm curious...if someone said this about your little 'princess' on national TV then bragged about it on Twitter would you beat his a-- or laugh it off?" a third expressed.  "You're not clever. You're a f-cking d-uche.

It’s been four days since President Biden announced his exit from the presidential race and endorsed Kamala Harris as his successor. Soon after, the American Federation of Teachers in Houston, Texas, made headlines by becoming the first union to back Harris.

"Vice President Harris has fought alongside Joe Biden to deliver historic accomplishments and create a better life for all Americans," AFT President Randi Weingarten said in announcing the endorsement, per CBS. "She has a record of fighting for us—fighting to lower the costs we pay, for reproductive rights, for worker empowerment and to keep communities safe from gun violence."

"As President Biden said in his endorsement of Kamala Harris, she has his full support to be the Democratic nominee for president," Weingarten added. "And she has the AFT executive council's support, too."

Jamie Lee Curtis, Olivia Rodrigo, Bill Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Beyoncé's mother, Tina Knowles, and Don Cheadle, are just a few others who have endorsed the Vice President.

"I’m so ready for this kind of leadership! What Kamala Harris is bringing to the table is true leadership skills, years of experience, a CLEAN RECORD (not a felon), and energy that the country needs!" Curtis wrote in an Instagram post. "I’m with her. Let’s do this."

“I’m so ready to work to help unite the pro-democracy coalition to reject Trump’s authoritarian, oppressive Project 2025 and elect Kamala Harris as our President,” John Legend shared earlier this week, per Billboard. “She’s ready for this fight and I’m excited to help her in any way I can.”
