Did Robin Williams try to warn the United States about Joe Biden?
The now-President Joe Biden once served as Vice President of the United States from January 20, 2009, to January 20, 2017, under Barack Obama. He went on to become the 46th President of the United States on January 20, 2021.
As the 2024 Presidential Election is now around the corner, a resurfaced clip from Robin Williams' 2009 show features the comedian mocking "rambling" Joe Biden.
Robin Williams Passes Away
Robin Williams, famous for bringing Mork to life on "Mork & Mindy" and for his brilliant stand-up comedy, sadly took his own life on August 11, 2014.
Behind the laughter and success, Williams faced his own difficult battles. He struggled with addiction and mental health issues and was also dealing with Lewy body dementia, a challenging neurological condition.
Years after he passed, a clip from one of his old stand-up bits is making its rounds on social media as it focuses on President Joe Biden.

In the newly surfaced video, Robin Williams joked about Joe Biden, who was serving his first term as Vice President at the time.
"We still have great comedy out there. There's always rambling Joe Biden, what the f-ck. Joe says sh-t that even people with Tourette's go, 'No. What is going on?'" Williams said in the video.
"Joe is like your uncle who's on a new drug and hasn't got the dosage right," the comedian continued by quoting one of Biden's famous slip-ups from 2008. "'I'm proud to work with Barack America.' He's not a superhero, you idiot!"
After watching the clip, TikTok users commented and expressed their thoughts. "How did he know?! Wow!!!!!" one user said. "He knew 100%," another wrote.
"Wow way back then," a third said.
Joe Biden Drops Out Of 2024 Presidential Race, Endorses Kamala Harris
Earlier this week, Joe Biden announced that he is dropping out of the presidential race and will not seek re-election.
“While it has been my intention to seek re-election, I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term,” Biden wrote in a letter shared on his X account, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.
Biden is the first sitting president to decline re-election since Lyndon Baines Johnson chose not to run again in 1968 amid growing unrest over America's involvement in Vietnam.
Joe Biden Shares Support For Kamala Harris
Shortly after announcing he would no longer run for re-election, Joe Biden released a follow-up statement, which read, in part, “My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harrisas my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made. Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this."
A few days later, in his first public address since dropping out of the race, President Joe Biden re-endorsed Kamala Harris, telling the nation, “Now, in just a few months, the American people choose the course of America’s future."
"I made my choice. I made my views known. I would like to thank our great vice-president, Kamala Harris," he said from the Oval Office. "She's experienced. She’s tough, she’s capable. She’s been an incredible partner to me and a leader for our country."
"Now the choice is up to you, the American people," the President of the United States said.

In a recent interview with Brandon Saho, Zak Williams, Robin Williams' 41-year-old son, discussed his father's death, mental health challenges, and the entertainment industry.
"Well, I think, relative to his struggle, it was very much the struggle of a lot of comics and entertainers," he said. "This is what many, many folks in the entertainment industry deal with and can't talk about."
Zak added, "So, yes, he experienced depression [and] anxiety over the course of his life, trauma, and things like that, but you know, he had effective ways to manage it, and he got a lot of joy and healing from going out, entertaining audiences, being immersed in environments where there are lots of folks who want to engage with what he has to say."
