Christina Haack Slams Estranged Husband For Diverting Funds As Divorce Rages On

Christina Hall's (née Haack) once-idyllic marriage to Josh Hall is descending into a bitter financial feud. 

As their three-year union heads towards a third divorce for the TV star, Christina is accusing Josh of diverting funds from their shared assets, adding fuel to the already heated separation. 

Christina Haack, who had been divorced twice before, filed to end her third marriage with Josh Hall earlier this month.

The HGTV star alleged that Josh attempted to siphon $35,000 from her rental property income by texting her property manager. 

She claimed he did this on July 8, just one day after their divorce filing, requesting that June rental payments be directed to a different account. The message read:

"Hi. For June payments, can we please get it sent to a different account when it's time? Thank you."

She discovered this transaction of $35,000 on July 21 and attached a screenshot of the text as evidence in her filing done in Orange County Superior Court in California.

The court documents obtained by ET showed that Christina requested that a judge order Josh to return the diverted funds. She stated:

"I am asking for Josh to account for the funds taken and return them to me as those funds are specifically used to pay any loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for these rental properties."

Christina wants her money back, and she is also locked in a heated legal battle with Josh over their shared Newport Beach residence.

The TV personality is seeking exclusive use of the property, claiming that the funds used to purchase the home originated from the sale of her previous residence in Dana Point.

Still, financial disputes are not the only issues at hand. In court filings, Christina alleges Josh's attorney demanded she preserve electronic evidence. 

In response, she disconnected the home's security cameras to prevent data overwriting. However, she alleges that Josh has repeatedly reconnected the cameras, stating:

"Each time Josh has returned to the house he has plugged the cameras back in, which would allow him to keep me and my children under surveillance. I object to him having that access into my home."

After nearly three years of marriage, Josh filed for divorce from Christina, citing "irreconcilable differences." The Blast reported that the split was initiated on July 16, with the couple's separation date listed as July 8.

Without a prenuptial agreement, the former pair faces a difficult legal battle over their assets. Josh seeks spousal support from Christina and aims to terminate her rights to alimony.

In a surprising twist, Josh is also seeking exclusive rights to any HGTV or Discovery Network shows produced during their marriage, potentially eyeing a share of the reality TV fortune.

In the midst of their divorce proceedings, Josh is making it clear that he intends to keep his assets separate. 

The former police officer petitioned the court to ensure that any property or belongings owned by each party before their marriage remain individual property.

The question of whether the couple acquired any joint properties during their marriage remains unanswered, but Josh is adamant that what is his should stay his.

Although the estranged couple do not have to fight for child support or custody, insiders suggest that things are still going to get heated. Sources claim that while Christina also filed for divorce, her paperwork has yet to be processed.

The drastic shift in Christina and Josh's relationship is striking, especially considering their affectionate public displays last year. 

Last September, The Blast observed that the mother-of-three shared a heartfelt tribute to her former beau on his birthday, celebrating their love with pictures and a touching message.

The real estate mogul posted ten enchanting slides on social media, with the first featuring a romantic beachside kiss. Christina looked ethereal in a lacy white dress, holding a champagne cup and embracing Josh, who sported a casual black outfit. 

The couple looked deeply in love as they posed, and their happiness was seemingly boundless. In her caption, Christina expressed her deep appreciation for Josh, writing:

"Happy Birthday to my gorgeous husband. My ride or die, protector, and the best step daddy. I truly appreciate everything you do for me & the kids. Love our life baby, let's live it like there's no tomorrow. #LEDLIYL 👑”
