Rick Ross has been one of the hottest rappers in the industry for 15 years now. The Miami mogul has also been making great investments in ventures outside of music as well. This includes owning multiple Wingstop and Checkers fast food restaurants in various parts of the United States.
Now, the latest big purchase and investment comes out of Fort Lauderdale, FL, where he bought the home of former NBA All-Star, Amar’e Soudemire, according to People. This is located in Broward County.
Ross Makes $3.5 Million Purchase Of The Home Official
The home is located a little west of the downtown Fort Lauderdale area as it is in Southwest Ranches. The home was only listed on the market for four days as Ross pulled up with all-cash in order to quickly own the latest purchase. The closing of the home in four days also becomes the “fastest closing in the history of the Landmark Ranch Estates section.”
“It’s a sprawling estate in a very secluded area,” Ross said to PEOPLE after the purchase. “From the moment I stepped inside, I appreciated the high ceilings and rich detail.”
The Fort Lauderdale Home Features Six Bedrooms
The amenities for this home are very satisfying as well. It includes six bedrooms, seven bathrooms and the entire property spans 2.3 acres. The “main house” itself has four bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, and 7,361 square feet of space overall. It also includes a porte-cochere and nine-car garage, chef’s kitchen, movie theater, two separate offices, indoor bar area with a pool table there, along with a yoga room. The “main suite” features an en-suite bathroom with a soaking tub, large closet with a chandelier, and a “resort-style pool” which includes a waterfall.
Ross’ Georgia Home Was Used For New ‘Coming 2 America’ Film
Ross isn’t new to lavish homes at all. His Fayeteville, GA home is also the site of the palace in the new “Coming 2 America” film starring Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, and more that was released exclusively on Amazon Prime last week. The mansion is 45,000 square feet and is 235 acres. This large property was previously owned by hall of fame boxer, Evander Holyfield, who is a Georgia native. Viewers on social media were also in awe of the home as they viewed it on their screens.
Amar’e Stoudemire Was One Of The Most Exciting NBA Players To Watch
Stoudemire lived in his amazing home prior to Ross and he earned it. He played 14 years in the NBA, most notably with the Phoenix Suns. Stoudemire was a 6x all-star, Rookie of the Year, was on an All-NBA First Team, and was on the All-NBA Second Team four times. Many believed that he had a shot to win an NBA title with the Suns but they were in a very competitive Western Conference which was dominated by the Lakers and Spurs.
