Meghan Markle and Kimberly Williams-Paisley were recently spotted having lunch together at a famous Italian restaurant.
While the women kept their outfits for the date simple, the Duchess of Sussex did not hold back on jewelry.
Meghan Markle wore over £53k [$68k] worth of jewelry, excluding her pricey engagement ring, and accessorized with a custom Lady Dior bag and Chanel Ballerina flats.
Meghan Markle Had A 'Low-Key' Lunch Date With Her Actress Friend
Meghan recently had a Sunday lunch date in Montecito with Kimberly Williams-Paisley, who is well-known for her role in "Father of the Bride."
The Duchess of Sussex and the actress were photographed as they left the famous Italian restaurant Tre Lune, which is near her Montecito mansion.
Meghan and Kimberly were photographed smiling happily and chatting as they walked out of the restaurant.
Kimberly and her husband, famous country singer Brad Paisley, have lived in the Montecito area for years and are in the same social circle as Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry.
Kimberly is also well known for her charity work, which is similar to Meghan's charity causes. During the lunch date, the Duchess looked casual in a white shirt and light-blue mom jeans. She had her hair pulled back with a claw clip. Kimberly, for her part, donned a blue button-down dress and white trainers.
Regarding the lunch date, a source told People magazine that the two women "had a lovely experience, chatting and laughing together."
They added, "The pair was low-key and was left unbothered by the other guests."
Meghan Markle Donned Very Expensive Jewelry And Accessories For The Lunch Date
For the lunch date, Meghan's outfit choice of a white shirt and blue jeans seemed simple, but the Duchess did not hold back on the accessories.
According to the Daily Mail, she wore over £53,000 [$68,000] worth of jewelry, not including her massive engagement ring from Prince Harry, which cost £271k [$350k].
Meghan's choice of jewelry for the day included her Lorraine Schwartz Against Evil Eye Diamond Pave Bracelet, which allegedly protects the wearer "from the envy of others."
It's made from 18-carat white gold and features blue topaz, white diamonds, and black diamonds. The bracelet reportedly costs a jaw-dropping £14,902.41.
Meghan also wore her usual pieces, which include a £12,800 Cartier necklace, £17,800 gold Cartier Tank watch, and £5,000 Cartier Love Bracelet. The former "Suits" actress also had her £2,039.50 Ariel Golden 'Imperial disk' necklace, which has the names of her kids, Archie and Lilibet, engraved on it.
Meghan further accessorized with her custom Lady D-Lite Dior Bag, which is embroidered with "DSSOS," which stands for "Duchess of Sussex." For footwear, she wore the Chanel Ballerina Cap Toe Flats in Beige and Black Lambskin, which cost £820.
Tre Lune Is A Favorite Spot For Many Celebs
The restaurant Meghan and Kimberly chose for their lunch date is a popular choice for many celebs, including Sofie Richie and Kourtney Kardashian.
The Italian restaurant is part of the famous Montesano group and boasts authentic Italian cuisine.
The menu is extremely impressive, as it offers diners meals from various regions of Italy, with each meal having a wine pairing suggestion.
There's also a wide-ranging brunch menu with healthy Californian twists. However, the restaurant is on the pricey side, with each dish costing approximately $20.
Meghan Markle And Kimberly Williams-Paisley Have A Lot In Common
Meghan and Kimberly's lunch date at Tre Lune is the first time both women have been seen publicly together.
However, they have several things in common. Meghan and Kimberly attended the same college, Northwestern University, although they graduated in different classes.
The two women are also openly passionate about charity and have their personal charity efforts.
Meghan and Harry run the Archewell Foundation, which has raised almost a million Euros in donations over the last year. The foundation encompasses all of their individual and couple charity work.
Kimberly and her music star husband, Brad, also run their own food initiative called "The Store."
The organization, based in Nashville, provides low-income families with free groceries and home supplies. In just four years since its launch, The Store has provided millions of meals to families.
Meghan Markle Is 'Pleased' With The 'Early Interest' Her Lifestyle Brand Has Gained
Prior to her outing with her friend, it was reported that Meghan was happy about the early interest in her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard. The Duchess of Sussex, 42, announced her business venture in March with an Instagram post hinting at its upcoming debut.
According to an insider, the brand's initial rollout is "off to a strong start," with over 100,000 people signing up on the website to receive updates on the first product launches.
"Meghan is very pleased with the early interest it has gained," the source shared with Us Weekly. "[She] is so excited to see how people enjoy her products and use them in their everyday lives."
Although the products are not yet available for purchase, Meghan has been engaging with a select group of celebrities by sending out samples. In April, she sent out jars of strawberry jam, followed by dog biscuits for her celebrity friends' pets.
