On Tuesday, upon arriving in Washington, D.C., President Joe Biden was questioned about the message he intends to convey in his primetime address scheduled for Wednesday night.

“Watch and listen," he said. "Why don't you wait and hear what I say?"

Now, the nation has done just that as President Joe Biden has addressed America for the first time since testing positive for COVID-19 and since withdrawing from the Presidential race.

Nearly one week after he tested positive, Joe Biden's COVID-19 symptoms "have resolved," and he has since tested negative.

"The President's symptoms have resolved," White House physician Kevin O'Connor wrote in a memo released by White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. "Over the course of his infection, he never manifested a fever, and his vital signs remained normal, to include pulse oximetry. His lungs remained clear."

O'Connor added that the president "will continue to be monitored for any recurrence of illness."

This comes days after Biden announced he would be dropping out of the 2024 Presidential race, claiming he "believes it is in the interest of my party and the country to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as president."

“Let me express my heartfelt appreciation to the American people for the faith and trust you have placed in me,” the President added. “I believe today what I always have: that there is nothing America can't do - when we do it together. We just have to remember we are the United States of America."

After acknowledging that he was sitting behind the Resolute Desk, Biden reflected on his journey of how he came to sit at the same desk as the past Presidents.

“Nowhere else on earth could a kid with a stutter — from modest beginnings in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and Claymont, Delaware — one day sit behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office as president of United States. But here I am.”

Biden also acknowledged Vice President Kamala Harris, who is now expected to run against Donald Trump in the Democratic Party. “She’s experienced. She’s tough. She’s capable. She’s been an incredible partner to me and a leader for our country,” he said.

On Sunday, just moments after Biden announced he would be dropping out of the race, former President Donald Trump addressed "Crooked Joe Biden," claiming he "was not fit to run for President, and is certainly not fit to serve - And never was!"

"All those around him, including his Doctor and the Media, knew that he wasn’t capable of being President, and he wasn’t,” Trump said. "We will suffer greatly because of his presidency, but we will remedy the damage he has done very quickly. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"

A source later came forward, claiming that Trump "can topple Kamala Harris as easily as he could topple Biden, but down deep, he is scared of her youth" and is "aware of her political and legal brilliance and deep understanding of the issues facing the American people."

At Tuesday's campaign rally in Milwaukee, Harris dedicated part of her speech to discussing Project 2025, a conservative policy blueprint developed by the Heritage Foundation and other right-leaning organizations, which has sparked significant criticism from Democrats.

"Donald Trump wants to take this country backward," the current Vice President said, per Yahoo. "He and his extreme Project 2025 agenda will weaken the middle class. Like, we know we've got to take this seriously — and can you believe they put that thing in writing? Read it. It's 900 pages."

"But here's the thing, when you read it you will see Donald Trump intends to cut Social Security and Medicare," she continued. "He intends to give tax breaks to billionaires and big corporations and make working families foot the bill. They intend to end the Affordable Care Act and take us back then to a time when insurance companies had the power to deny people with preexisting conditions."

According to Yahoo, Trump has denied knowledge of what Project 2025 entails.

At the same rally, Harris announced to her audience that she had effectively secured the Democratic nomination for president.

"So, Wisconsin, as of this morning, I am told that we have earned the support of enough delegates to secure the Democratic nomination," Harris said on Tuesday as the crowd erupted in cheers. "And I am so very honored, and I pledge to you I will spend the coming weeks continuing to unite our party so that we are ready to win in November."

"You all helped us in 2020," she told the Milwaukee crowd. "And in 2024, we will win again."
