“Southern Charm” star Kathryn Dennis posted a photo of her daughter that made it appear they were hanging out this weekend despite her recently losing custody.
Over the weekend, Kathryn posted a photo of her daughter Kensie on her IG story. Her daughter was all smiles while rocking a cute pair of sunglasses. The reality star captioned the post, “Sunday Funday.”
Kathryn, who hours prior was in Miami with her new boyfriend Chleb Ravenell, made it appear she was right there by her kid’s side.
As The Blast previously reported, last month, Kathryn had custody of her two kids, Kensie and Saint, stripped from her after her ex Thomas Ravenel went back to court. He accused her of abusing drugs and leaving cocaine around the kids while they were with her.
According to court documents obtained by The Sun, a South Carolina judge ruled Kathryn will temporarily not have custody and will only be allowed to have supervised visitation.
In court documents, Thomas claimed Kathryn was neglecting their kids and he wanted to take over full custody.
According to the report, a hearing was held in the case on February 9. The judge came back with their decision on February 25. Kathryn last posted a photo with her kids on February 22.
A couple of weeks later, Kathryn jetted off to Miami with her new boyfriend. They partied it up while staying at a luxury pad, dining at fancy restaurants, and even partying at the Versace mansion.
Many fans trashed Kathryn for taking the trip days after she lost custody of her children.
In the court documents, Thomas claimed he had a friend who told him about an incident where Kathryn took with their kids and her new boyfriend Chleb
Thomas said in court documents the friend told him about drug use. The documents read, “He informed me that he witnessed a lot of cocaine use during this trip and that Kathryn had left cocaine within grasp of the children, which he thought was dangerous.”
Kathryn denied abusing drugs or leaving cocaine around their kids. She said, “I do not use cocaine so naturally I have not left any out for our children to access.” The reality star even offered to take a drug test if Thomas took one himself.
Kathryn is expected to go back to court to win back custody of Kensie and Saint. Prior to the decision, Kathryn and Thomas shared joint custody of their offspring.
