Christina Haack Kick Starts Shooting New Show 'The Flip Off' Without Estranged Husband

Christina Hall (née Haack) is plunging into a fresh chapter with her new show, "The Flip Off," and her estranged husband, Josh Hall, is notably missing from the production.

The reality TV star is currently going through a divorce from Hall, marking her third marriage to end in separation.

Christina Haack is focusing her energy on her career as she begins filming her new show amid her shocking divorce from her husband of three years, Josh Hall.

HGTV's eagerly anticipated series "The Flip Off" is forging ahead with production despite Christina's estranged husband's recent departure.

Initially set as a competitive showdown between Christina and Josh against her former spouse, Tarek El Moussa, and his new wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, the show will now proceed without Hall. 

Sources reveal to PEOPLE that the show, scheduled for a 2025 premiere, is continuing its filming schedule. However, the competition's format will potentially undergo adjustments in response to the 43-year-old's absence.

Following Hall's divorce filing on July 15, the series is adapting to the changes but remains on track to deliver the dynamic content viewers are anticipating. 

Josh's increasing prominence on Christina's show, "Christina on the Coast," initially seemed to solidify their partnership. However, behind the scenes, the dynamic between the two was growing increasingly complex.

The Blast reported that the couple's split was not abrupt but had been brewing due to ongoing issues. Sources close to the couple revealed that the split was not a "sudden" decision but rather the result of tensions that had been simmering for some time.

Christina herself had admitted to the challenges of working closely with a spouse in a previous interview. Last year, she hinted at the difficulties of their professional dynamic, noting:

"I mean, it's never easy to work with a spouse, so we're just really discovering. I'm used to being the boss of everything, especially when it comes to design. This is a whole new dynamic for us, and it's gonna be interesting how it plays out."

The couple, who tied the knot in 2021, has decided to part ways, citing irreconcilable differences. The absence of a prenuptial agreement complicates matters, suggesting a protracted legal process as they battle over the division of their assets. 

The Blast shared that Josh filed for spousal support and laid claim to a portion of Christina's earnings. He also requested the court grant him ownership rights to any shows or specials produced during their marriage under the HGTV and Discovery networks. 

Furthermore, he is seeking a termination of Christina's spousal support rights, indicating a desire to receive financial benefits without reciprocation.

Christina and Josh's divorce proceedings are intensifying over the division of their assets. Josh has filed for a clean break, requesting that their marital property be divided according to their pre-marital agreements.
