Kelly Ripa In Tight Swimsuit Told She Needs A 'Cheeseburger'

Kelly Ripa may be in the best shape of her life, but it looks like some fans think she should gain a few pounds. In January, the 53-year-old talk show host dropped jaws with her swimsuit body on Instagram, sharing a poolside shot with husband Mark Consuelos and quickly seeing reality star friend Lisa Rinna joking that the two are out of "shape." While many of Kelly's 3 million+ followers appeared impressed with the photo, others weren't so sure. Alongside gaining negative remarks about her weight on her Instagram, Kelly also had fans worried when The Daily Mail covered the post.

Going strapless in her elegant one-piece, the mom of three drew the eye from her ultra-toned legs to hr gym-honed waistline, also flaunting her peachy rear and slender arms.

Folding one leg a little as she displayed her impressive muscle definition, Kelly Ripa smiled for the camera while placing her hands on her husband Mark's bulging bicep. Fans saw the Riverdale actor looking equally buff, displaying his ripped torso as he wore only a pair of swim trunks. In a witty caption, Kelly showed off her signature sense of humor as she wrote: "Greetings from Captains Underpants  (One last swim)."

Topping replies to the IG post was former Bravo star Lisa, who replied: "I’m sorry to see that you’ve both just let yourselves go. Let’s do better in 2024." The Daily Mail's users, however, had other thoughts, some also expressed by a few of Kelly's followers.

In an aggressive, body-shaming comment left to the media outlet's report, one user replied: "Give the girl a cheeseburger ffs." Another, meanwhile, said: "Are we not supposed to comment that Kelly weighs 90 pounds." Unfortunately for Kelly Ripa, similar sentiments manifested on her Instagram post. Gaining over 1,000 likes, one fan expressed concern for the blonde's weight as they stated: "So, everyone is up here pretending that Kelly looks healthy, ok."

While some agreed, others jumped to Kelly's defense. "She's a petite woman and is fit, stop judging from one pic. Thanks," one fan retorted. "She is tiny but she is not bony and gaunt looking," another wrote.

Kelly's fans might wonder if she's eating enough, but it looks like the star has an appetite for fast food. During a 2020 snowstorm, Kelly made headlines for ordering a McRib to her NYC home, even sharing the delicious-looking burger on her social media. "It's once every ten years, calm down!" she wrote of her "early" Xmas treat.
