Matthew And Camila McConaughey Celebrate National Tequila Day With No Pantalones

No pantalones, no problem! Matthew McConaughey and his wife, Camila McConaughey, are celebrating National Tequila Day poolside and pantless.

The "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days" actor launched a new tequila brand called Pantalones alongside his wife last year, and the McConaughey’s have been infusing fun into the tequila industry ever since.

July 24 is National Tequila Day, so, of course, Matthew McConaughey and Camila are celebrating the only way they know how--with no pants!

In an email sent to The Blast, Matthew and Camila "are turning up the heat with a delicious cocktail in hand" for Pantalones’ first National Tequila Day. Of course, the couple dropped a new photo of themselves lounging by the pool, begging the question, "Are they wearing their pantalones?"

The simple answer--No, no they are not.

The photo, sent to The Blast, is part of the brand’s "Official Tequila Of" campaign, which declares that Pantalones Organic Tequila is the "Official Tequila of Not Getting Burned.”

Matthew and Camila launched Pantalones Organic Tequila in October.

In addition to the jaw-dropping photo, Pantalones Organic Tequila is dropping a new cocktail called the Sunrise Speedo to celebrate the holiday. "The delicious sip offers a blend of Pantalones Organic Tequila Blanco, orange juice, lime juice, grenadine, and a cherry and orange wheel to top things off," per the announcement. "It’s the ultimate drink to savor by the pool because nothing says refreshing like a cheeky splash of tequila."

Here's how to make the Sunrise Speedo:

Ingredients:

• 2 oz Pantalones Organic Blanco Tequila
• 2 oz Orange Juice
• 1 oz Lime Juice
• 1 oz Grenadine
• Cherry and Orange Wheel to garnish

Directions:

1. In a shaker with ice, combine Pantalones Organic Blanco Tequila, Orange Juice, and Lime Juice.
2. Shake well and pour into a high-ball glass with ice.
3. Float the grenadine on top like you're floating on a lazy river.
4. Put the cherry on top of the perfect cocktail by garnishing it with an orange wheel and cherry.

The National Tequila Day cocktail comes just weeks after the actor suffered from a gnarly bee-sting, which he used as a way to craft up a drink, using his tequila, of course.

The recipe (sent to The Blast) consists of Pantalones Organic Reposado Tequila, lime juice, and a kick thanks to the habanero pepper.

Last year, McConaughey and his wife announced the release of a new tequila brand called Pantalones.

“We’re precious about our tequila, not our pants,” he and his wife, Camila said in a statement, per People Magazine. “With the explosion in popularity of tequila, there’s a level of snootiness that’s crept into the category. People now talk about tequila the way they talk about wine. While we’re all for being passionate about tequila, we wanted to remind people that, above all, it’s meant to be fun."

“That’s where the name Pantalones came from and that’s why you won’t see us wearing any," they added.
