Monday night marked Harris' first official visit to her campaign headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware, and she did so in style. The vice president stepped into the spotlight to Beyoncé's hit 2016 tune, "Freedom."

A source from Harris' camp confirmed their team received permission from Queen Bey to use her song, a rare occurrence as the sensational songstress is very protective of her music.

However, reports claim Beyoncé's approval arrived within hours of Harris' team's request. While she has not publicly endorsed the vice president's campaign, letting her use her music may be Queen Bey's way of showing her support.

The Blast reported that Biden bowed out of the presidential race on Sunday, July 21, and endorsed Harris as his replacement. Following his exit, the Democratic fundraising platform announced the VP had achieved a remarkable milestone.

According to the platform, nearly $47 million was raised by small-dollar donors on ActBlue within seven hours of Harris's presidential campaign launch. These donations weren't significant just for their high value.

Reports showed Harris' donations represented the largest single-day achievement for online Democratic contributions since the 2020 election. Surprisingly, her biggest competitor used to be a fan.

Although former president Donald Trump may face Harris in the presidential race, reports revealed his family used to support the VP. Donald donated $5,000 in 2011, $1,000 in 2013, and $2,000 in 2014 to Harris' campaign for California Attorney General.

His daughter, Ivanka Trump, donated $2,000 to Harris' re-election committee in June 2014. These reports went viral on social media, with the Republican National Committee quipping:

"When Trump wrote that check to re-elect Kamala Harris in 2011, I bet he didn't think she'd cash it in 2024!"

While Kamala Harris has not been appointed the Democratic party's presidential nominee, she has enough support to earn the title. Will she beat Donald Trump in the race? Only voters can decide.
