A heartbreaking post from Knight appeared on Instagram three hours after her stepfather announced that she had passed away peacefully.

Although the picture looked normal, Knight's caption told a different story. It hinted at her emotional struggles and included an apology that appeared to be directed toward those she cared about

She wrote, "Whether I made you feel excluded, manipulated/ controlled you, told you to quit your day job from the comfort of being financially supported by my parents, or drowned real issues in toxic positivity-I am sorry.

The artist also seemed to blame herself for some things that might have gone wrong around her.
