Gymnast Nastia Liukin's Swimsuit Falls Open In Ocean

Olympic gymnast Nastia Liukin has suffered a swimsuit wardrobe malfunction while drenched in ocean waters. Kudos to the 31-year-old for braving posting it to Instagram today. Nastia, followed by 1 million and recently in the news for fronting homeware retailer Pottery Barn, ditched her stylish interiors show-offs today for something way skimpier, uploading a killer bare booty shot as she splashed around waves, with the photo seeing the 2008 all-around champion missing the good old days of travel. Nastia, who has traveled to Montana and Indiana this past year – twice for vacation, once for the 12th annual Nastia Cup this month – has not managed to enjoy a beach vacation on account of the global pandemic, with Saturday seeing the Russian-born star frolicking shores in throwback mode.

All legs and surrounded by waves, Nastia was photographed in profile, wearing the skimpiest, blue, and sideless criss-cross swimsuit, and it looked like something was coming apart at the front.

Nastia, kicking up one leg as she waded through the water, likely drew the eye to a loose piece of fabric near her upper thigh, one that didn't seem tied to the rest of the bathing suit and was essentially just flapping around. Not a problem for the star whose jaw-dropping shots regularly include challenging wardrobes.

"Hi ocean, I miss you," Liukin wrote, quickly snagging a "blazing body" comment and like from fellow gymnast MyKayla Skinner. See her mind-blowing yoga stretch after the photo.

Nastia, who retired aged just 22 in 2021, has been seeing her illustrious legacy continued via the annual Nastia Cup. Reflecting on it, Liukin told fans:

"As I look back to where I was exactly a year ago today I can’t believe how much things have changed. While so many things in life, especially this last year, have been unpredictable, I continue to believe I’m finally right where I should be, and everything I ever needed was always right in front of me."

While 2020 brought Liukin bringing "bubble baths back" in an Olay skincare promo, 2021, already seeing the star partner up with Facebook App, has brought her promoting Pottery Barn. Nastia's stylish Dallas, TX home has been entirely kitted out by the mainstream retailer, with Liukin saying:

"As most of you know, I recently moved back to Dallas and have been working on and designing my home since the summer. I am finally so, so excited to share more, starting with one of my absolute favorite rooms, my office - aka NLHQ."
