Soulja Boy is determined to clear things up in the ongoing lawsuit by his unnamed ex-girlfriend!

The rapper has agreed to testify under oath before a court officer to prove his innocence after his ex-girlfriend filed a surprise lawsuit in 2021 accusing him of assault.

Soulja Boy was slammed with a lawsuit for allegedly assaulting Jane Doe at his home during the course of their relationship in 2015.

Soulja Boy, whose real name is DeAndre Way, denied the allegations contained in the court document filed by the plaintiff, who used "Jane Doe" as her filing name to conceal her identity.

He is now ready to appear for a deposition at the end of the month in the lawsuit where the plaintiff stated that the rapper attacked her in 2015, 8 years after they began their on-and-off relationship, till she finally called it quits in 2017.

The plaintiff gave a rundown of events that led to the assault, and according to her, Soulja became "irate and violent" while they were having a "simple conversation."

She continued that the "Kiss Me Thru The Phone" rapper began to punch her in the face and chest till she could no longer stand on her feet and then proceeded to kick her pregnant belly, leading to a miscarriage.

Allegations leveled against Soulja included assault, sexual battery, and intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress, with demands for $10 million in total for damages — $5 million for her pain and the other $5 million for emotional distress, per In Touch.

The Rapper Accused The Plaintiff Of Fraudulent Conduct

In a bid to clear his name, the rapper's lawyer argued that the victim "had not been damaged in the sums alleged, or in any sum or at all." In Soulja Boy's legal representative's words:

"With respect to all causes of action, Defendant alleges that the willful, intentional, deliberate, malicious, and fraudulent conduct of others was/were responsible for and proximately contributed to the damages alleged to have been sustained, if any such damages were sustained, the fact of which is expressly denied, and that such conduct constitutes a bar to Plaintiff s recovery hereunder."

However, earlier this year, the plaintiff accused the rapper of defaulting on his deposition appearance and ignoring her lawyer. The judge handling the case granted the plaintiff's default claim against Soulja and dismissed his initial response to the lawsuit.

Soulja's current decision to finally sit for a deposition was triggered by his accuser, who was about to obtain a default judgment from the court. The rapper declared to the court that he was busy with work and did not intentionally ignore the case.

His pleas were considered by the court, which agreed to allow him to reopen the lawsuit as long as he appeared for a deposition. He was also ordered to pay another Kayla Myers a six-figure sum over an alleged assault at a 2019 house party, which the rapper denied.

The Rapper's Other Assault Allegation

Soulja bagged a third lawsuit from his former personal assistant. The woman came forward with a civil suit in January 2021, alleging the rapper sexually abused her, beat her, and held her against her will.

The Blast shared that the first lawsuit filed by his former staff stated that the abuse began with Soulja sending an unwanted picture of his p-nis shortly after she started working for the rapper.

The rapper then sexually assaulted the woman for the first time the next month and offered her $1000 after expressing "remorse" for his actions. It soon became a regular occurrence, sometimes twice on the same day.

Soulja would allegedly inappropriately touch the Plaintiff's body, forcefully pull her clothes off, and even raped her, as her lawyer added:

"Over the course of this abusive relationship, Defendant Way punched Plaintiff directly in the head on at least ten separate occasions."

The ex-staff's attorney, Neama Rahmani, declared in his statement that his client was traumatized by Soulja's treatment, adding that he should be held accountable for his abusive acts, which "imprisoned her physically, mentally and emotionally."

Despite the multiple allegations of sexual assault and physical abuse, the Chicago-born rapper still has people on his side.

A representative from his camp declared confidently that the rapper "would never put his hands on a female. He wouldn't beat a woman or put his hands on a woman," in response to his former personal assistant's claims.

Soulja has remained controversial since his rise to fame. In 2019, the rapper served time behind bars for violating probation due to weapons possession charges.

Soulja Boy's Partner Previously Sued Rapper Blueface For Defamation

It looks like the Soulja clan has a thing for court cases; they are either starting them or neck deep in them. Last year, the rapper's baby mama and girlfriend, Jackilyn Martinez, dragged rapper Blueface to court for defamatory remarks.

The Blast shared that Blueface allegedly spread false claims about the paternity of Martinez's child during an argument with Souja on Instagram Live, where he hinted that he and Martinez had a sexual history.

Martinez denied the rapper's remark in her lawsuit, adding that his statement has stained her reputation especially as she works in a "business where attitude, trust, stability, being level-headed were not only valued but imperative."

She also claimed that his remarks raised questions about her relationship with Soulja. She requested compensation for general damages, loss of earnings, and loss of earning capacities and demanded that Blueface cover her legal fees and the cost of the lawsuit.

Where will the hammer of justice swing for Soulja Boy? Only time will tell!
