The owner of the farm where the dramatic shooting incident involving Donald Trump occurred last Saturday in Butler, Pennsylvania, has now issued a statement.

On Friday, the Butler Farm Show extended their condolences to the victims of the shooting and clarified their involvement in the tragic event. According to Fox News, local news station KDKA reported they emphasized that their role was limited to renting the grounds to Trump’s campaign, distancing themselves from the incident while expressing sympathy for those affected.

"We are grieved by the tragic event that occurred at the Butler Farm Show grounds during former President Donald J. Trump's rally on Saturday, July 13," the Butler Farm Show rep said. "Our thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of Corey Comperatore, whose life made a profound impact within the Butler community. We also extend our heartfelt sympathies to those who were injured during the incident and wish them a full recovery."

"The Butler Farm Show is fully cooperating with the FBI's ongoing investigation into this incident," the statement continued. "Due to the sensitive nature of the investigation, we have been unable to comment on the event until now. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. The Butler Farm Show has been a beloved community and family tradition since 1948, bringing people together from all walks of life to celebrate agriculture and community."

"Our commitment to creating a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees of the upcoming Butler Farm Show remains unwavering, and your well-being is at the heart of our preparations. Thank you for your patience and support as we heal and move forward as a community," they concluded.

Earlier this week, at the 2024 RNC, former president Donald Trump explained what he remembers from that day.

"I will tell you exactly what happened, and you'll never hear it from me a second time because it's actually too painful to tell," Trump said. "I went onto the stage, and the crowd [was] cheering wildly. Everybody was happy."

Approximately ten minutes into his speech, Trump pulled up a chart on a screen to his right. "In order to see the chart, I started to turn like this," he demonstrated as he slightly moved his head to the right. I was ready to begin [turning] a little bit further, which I'm very lucky I didn't do, when I heard a loud whizzing sound and felt something hit me really, really hard on my right ear."

"I said to myself, 'Wow what was that? It could only be a bullet.' And moved my right hand to my right ear, brought it down. My hand was covered with blood," Trump recalled. "Just absolutely blood all over the place. I immediately knew it was very serious that we were under attack."

Following the attempted assassination on Saturday, Trump quickly addressed the situation through his Truth Social account, breaking his silence on the dramatic events.

"I want to thank The United States Secret Service, and all of Law Enforcement, for their rapid response on the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania," Trump wrote in his Truth Social post last weekend. "It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country."

"I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening," Trump added.

"GOD BLESS AMERICA!" he concluded.

The following morning, Donald Trump released another statement. "We will FEAR NOT, but instead remain resilient in our Faith and Defiant in the face of Wickedness," he said. "Our love goes out to the other victims and their families."

"We pray for the recovery of those who were wounded, and hold in our hearts the memory of the citizen who was so horribly killed," he added. "In this moment, it is more important than ever that we stand United, and show our True Character as Americans, remaining Strong and Determined, and not allowing Evil to Win."
