David Letterman Creep Fans Out In Viral Video That Showed Him Lick Jennifer Aniston's Hair

Talk show host David Letterman has been on the receiving end of public backlash as clips of him conducting uncomfortable interviews with female stars such as Paris Hilton, Jennifer Aniston and Janet Jackson, recently surfaced.

One segment of his show that has recently gained public attention is his 1998 interview with Aniston. At the time, the actress was promoting the movie "The Object Of My Affections." During the interview, Aniston regaled Letterman with a story of running into fans in a gym's steam room.

After a while, Letterman moved his chair closer to Aniston and asked for her forgiveness in advance. He then said he wanted to try one thing. He got close to the "Friends" alum, placed strands of her hair in his mouth and sucked on it. Visibly in shock, Aniston laughed it away as she wiped her hair.

Apologizing for the harassment, Letterman said it was "something to do with the steam room" and  Aniston replied that it was something she will never forget.

As the resurfaced interview went viral, social media users reacted to the alleged harassment, and one tweeter user wrote, "watching these David Letterman interviews makes me cringe."

Another user agreed that  the 1998 interview was disgusting at best, while yet another user weighed in and reminded everyone that "this stuff happened and still does in people's everyday lives."

Letterman's integrity as a show host is currently being questioned when the resurfaced clip of his 2007 interview with Lindsay Lohan also went viral. 

In the clip, Letterman drove Lohan to tears after making her uncomfortable by asking about her upcoming stint in rehab.

Letterman's 2007 interview with Paris Hilton was also scrutinized. The show’s host was accused of making Hilton uncomfortable when he continued to badger her with questions about her time in jail for reckless driving.

As reported by Glamour Letterman asked the actress if she liked being in jail almost immediately after taking the stage. The publication said that although she conducted herself gracefully, she was also uncomfortable about the questioning.

Responding to his questions, Hilton shared that it was a traumatic experience for her, but she learned her lessons.

When Letterman continued to probe her, she flat out made it clear that she would not answer his questions about her jail time. Per the "Glamour," Letterman then took a different tone as he lectured Hilton about her status as a role model for all youths.

Opening up, Hilton told Letterman that he was hurting her feelings and making her sad. Letterman's representative has not responded to "Fox News's" request for comments.
