Brittany Mahomes And Patrick Mahomes Reveal Gender Of Third Baby

Earlier this month, NFL quarterback Patrick Mahomes and fitness trainer Brittany Mahomes announced that they are growing their family as they are expecting baby number three.

The couple has been together since high school and engaged in 2020. In 2021, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Sterling Skye Mahomes. The following year, they had a son, Patrick 'Bronze' Lavon Mahomes III, coinciding with their wedding.

A few days after dropping the baby bombshell news, Brittany Mahomes and Patrick Mahomes have revealed the gender of their baby with the help of Sterling Skye Mahomes and Patrick 'Bronze' Lavon Mahomes III.

Last week, Brittany and Patrick posted a joint update on Instagram with the caption, “Round three, here we come.”

In the video, they were accompanied by their daughter Sterling, who is 2, and their son Bronze, who is 19 months. The video featured ultrasound photos of their upcoming addition.

With one girl and one boy already, the anticipation around the baby's gender has been uncertain--until now.

In the video, their adorable 3-year-old daughter Sterling plays Tic-tac-toe as she flips over tiles to discover if she'll get a little sister or a little brother. Their equally cute 1-year-old Bronze is seen watching the whole thing.

After a few turns, Sterling lines up three pink Xs in a row, revealing that the family is thrilled to be welcoming another little girl!

The 28-year-old fitness trainer has often expressed her joy about motherhood, highlighting how she cherishes spending time with her children and witnessing their growth.

“Oh my goodness, I love being a mom,” Brittany told She Knows. “I think I’ve been called to be a mom ever since I was little."

"Just seeing my kids grow up, and the things that they’re learning, and the things that they’re taking from their dad … when we have first experiences with them, taking them somewhere, seeing them happy and lit up and in good spirits when we do stuff, is probably the biggest thing that I enjoy," she added.

As they prepare to welcome their third child together, Patrick Mahomes discussed a possible fourth.

"I always wanted to have kids young. I got to grow up in a locker room, I've talked about it before," the NFL quarterback said in a video shared on KMBC's X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. "I'm done, I'll say that. I said three, and I'm done," he admitted.

"It made such an impact in my life," he added of fatherhood. "We're having our third kid now to join our family and Brittany does a great job of doing that. We still go out and enjoy our life and let our kids see these great things."

The NFL quarterback has also been vocal about his family life, giving high praise to Brittany for being an amazing mom. "I think people don't even realize how much she does. Taking care of the day-to-day stuff and making it so where I can focus on football, focus on my craft and everything like that," he said on Logan Paul's "Impaulsive" podcast. "Just being a hall of fame mom and a hall of fame wife."

"It makes things a lot easier," he continued. "When you get to come home and your best friend is there. You can just hang out. It makes you want to be there all the time and so, she pushes me to be great. She's done a lot of great things herself."

The soon-to-be mother of three explained how she "just wants to be with my kids, you know, 24/7."

"I want to always be with them, I want to do everything, but it’s also like — I have stuff I need to get done. And I need to take care of myself as well, so I’m not so tired," she told She Knows. "And you can’t pour from an empty cup, so I’ve got to keep my cup full. I’ve got to take some time for myself.”

Sometimes, that brings guilt, but Brittany tells herself, "It’s okay, and you have to be energized; you have to be in a good mood. If you don’t take care of yourself, then it’s really hard to take care of other people."
