Kendrick Lamar Shows Love To Jack Harlow's Child Throwback Music Video
Kendrick Lamar- 'Element' music video
Kendrick Lamar has been on a very long music hiatus as fans continue to be anxious regarding when this will finally end. In the meantime, anything that the Top Dawg Entertainment rapper does will make headlines. One viral moment has been circulating on Twitter and it's regarding Lamar "liking" his first tweet in almost two years. The post was of a video of Louisville rapper, Jack Harlow, in a music video rapping as a very young child and Lamar seemed to be impressed based on the like.

Harlow Says This Song Was One Of The Realist Ones He's Ever Written
Harlow originally posted the video on March 3 and praised the song and music video as "Some of the realist s*it I ever wrote." Many soon wondered why Lamar chose to "like" this tweet out of everything on the app for the first time in almost two years. They also thought of how if the Internet will go crazy over something as small as this, it will be even bigger when Lamar finally decides to put out new music again.

Kendrick Hasn't Released An Album In Almost Four Years
It's been unclear why Lamar has taken a break from putting out any solo albums lately. The last one he put out was his fourth, which was "DAMN." This was released in April 2017 and is regarded as one of his best projects of all-time. DAMN debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and was led by hit singles such as "Humble," "Loyality" featuring Rihanna, and "Love" feat. Zacari. DAMN has also been on the Billboard 200 for almost four years now and currently stands at 3x platinum in the US. The album also won a Pulitzer Prize award.
Harlow Succeeded With Debut Studio Album, 'That's What They All Say'
Harlow was one of the biggest breakout hip-hop stars of 2020. That January, he put out his single, "What's Poppin," and it was up from there. It then received a star-studded remix in the spring which included Tory Lanez, Lil Wayne, and DaBaby. Harlow's debut studio album, "That's What They All Say," was then released in December. That contained 15 tracks with appearances from Bryson Tiller, Chris Brown, Big Sean, Lil Baby, the late Static Major, and more. That's What They All Say went on to debut at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Harlow Will Perform On 'Saturday Night Live' This Month
Harlow's momentum from 2020 is definitely rolling into 2021 in a major way. On March 27, the Louisville native will be performing on "Saturday Night Live." This show will be hosted by Maya Rudolph. Harlow took to his social media feeds to express how grateful he is and how he's been watching SNL since 2008 when Kanye West performed "Love Lockdown" and "Heartless."
"Saturday Night Live. March 27th. I grew up watching SNL with my family every weekend. I vividly remember seeing Kanye perform Love Lockdown and Heartless in 2008. Thank you for making this happen. Another dream come true."
